Born and raised in Toronto, Canada and completed his bachelors degree in chemistry at the University Toronto. He then went on to complete a PhD in chemistry and publish original research at York University, where he also served as a teaching assistant. Dr. Amborski, then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy, which also included completion of an elective program in implant dentistry.
Dr. Amborski is now in his tenth year of dental practice and continues to be passionate about learning and helping people find their optimal oral health. In a changing field like dentistry, staying up to date is important and he attends over 70 hours a year of continuing education. He really enjoys the combination of helping people, science, and art that the profession of dentistry provides.
He is currently a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Asssociation (ADA), the Indiana Dental Association (IDA), the Indianapolis District Dental Society (IDDS), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and has been awarded Fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

I hate going to the dentist and I don't really like to write reviews.... HOWEVER, when you've had an experience like I did you simply have to let everyone know! I have never really had a good experience with ANY dentist in over 50 years.... until now! I needed to get in quickly to have work done. They were able to get me in within 24 hours! I was very impressed with how Dr. Amborski actually took time to listen and understand my concerns. He and his AMAZING staff made me feel so comfortable! They are VERY knowledgeable and skilled plus they will keep you laughing!!! I have actually had my first pain-free dental visit thanks to them! I will NEVER go to another dentist! BEST DENTIST AND STAFF EVER!

If I could give a zero - I would. My new patient appointment was scheduled for this morning at 7:00am (Friday 07/31). I took time off work, got up early and arrived to find the office closed. Not one person contacted me to let me know my appointment was cancelled nor re-scheduled. As a patient, I would have been charged a no-show fee. What are the consequences as a provider?? None. Very rude and unprofessional.

Very knowledgeable people and they do a great job, but they are scam artists when it comes to billing. I had some gum issues last year that had to cleared up and they did a great job. But now it's like they have labeled me, even after it was corrected. So now when I go in for a normal cleaning they code it as special cleaning even though they did a normal cleaning. They blamed it on the insurance company. However, I called the insurance company and they pay based on the office coding. They don't dictate what coding to use. The insurance knew I had the cleaning done and said if the dentist does a standard cleaning it should be coded that way, not a special cleaning that didn't happen. That's where they lie. I had to pay $40.00 out of pocket for what should have been a standard free preventative cleaning. So, they take advantage now of the gum issue. Once again, they do a great job, but they will try to get more money out of you for coding things to the insurance company. Perfect for someone who has no teeth issues, but if you do I'd recommend going somewhere else. They clearly only care about the money and not the patients.
