Dr. Rose lives to help others. The Elkview, WV, native was drawn to dentistry because it offered a chance to contribute positively to his community and to society. He earned his Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University where, rumor has it, he could often be seen playing music with the university band. Dr. Rose graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1989, and completed a General Practice Residency at the Charleston Area Medical Center.
After a year in private practice, Dr. Rose decided to return to school for an additional two years and earn his Masters Degree in pediatric dentistry at the Indiana University Riley Childrens Hospital. He has been in private practice, helping kids smile, ever since. Dr. Rose is Board Certified by The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He and Dr. Andrada-Rose have two children, and in his spare time, Dr. Rose enjoys gardening, fishing and traveling.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Andrada-Rose was drawn to dentistry because she wanted to make a positive impact in her community and transform the lives of her patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Marshall University in Huntington, then attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where she met Dr. Rose. After graduating in 1991, she completed an advanced general dentistry residency at the Ohio State University. She went on to serve as Research Coordinator at the Oral Health Research Institute at Indiana University before joining Dr. Rose in private practice.
Dental Hygienist Donna has been a Dental Hygienist with our practice for many years. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, and attended West Virginia University Institute of Technology where she became a Registered Dental Hygienist. She was also awarded the Student of Excellence Award in Hygiene and the Jackie Hoffman Award in Hygiene. Donna has completed a number of continuing education courses, including certifications in sedation monitoring, CPR, infection control, and has hospital privileges at Raleigh General Hospital. She is married with one child, and enjoys gardening, yard work, and sewing in her off time.
Dental Hygienist Jessica graduated from Independence High School and attended Bridgevalley Community and Technology College. She has her dental hygienist license and is also a certified dental assistant. Jessica also carries certifications in Nitrous Oxide, bleaching and sedation. Jessica is married and has one dog, Mowgli. In her free time she enjoys reading.
Dental Assistant Melinda, a Dental Assistant, attended Woodrow Wilson High School, Beckley College, and the Mercer County Technical Education Center, and is certified to monitor different levels of sedation, CPR, and is also certified in coronal polishing. Melinda is married, obsessed with her dog, and loves to read and cook with her husband. Around the office, Melinda is known as a great team player who sweats the details and makes sure nothing gets overlooked.
Dental Assistant Amanda received her certificate in dental assisting from Ross Medical Education Center in May of 2016 and is also nitrous oxide certified. She loves the beach, traveling, shopping and being around animals, especially her three dogs, Sophie, Zoey, and Diesle. Amanda is known around the office as Cortneys quiet, dependable sidekick, but dont let the quiet fool you, her hidden talents include being able to do cartwheels and back handsprings.
Dental Assistant Caitlin graduated from Midland Trail High School and attended Fayette Institute of Technology where she took Health Occupations Student of America nursing classes. She is CPR and first ad certified as well as nitrous oxide certified. Caitlin has completed continuing education courses on OSHA and Medical Emergencies. Caitlin is known around the office for keeping everyone laughing.
When not busy at the office, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her young son, friends and family. She enjoys watching West Virginia and Pittsburgh Steeler football and also enjoys going four wheeling.
Insurance and Billing Pat helps patients navigate their insurance and billing. Pat graduated from Nitro High School and holds a Radiologic Technologist Certificate from McMillan Hospital. She has also taken extensive continuing education courses related to finance, medical coding, and office management. Pat loves collecting vintage Fiestaware and Mickey Mouse memorabilia and reading, and is completely obsessed with couponing. She and Doug, her husband of 42 years, adore their boxer, named Mickey Mouse II.
Administrative Assistant Debbie is an Administrative Assistant who has been with our practice for more than 21 years! She and her husband John have been married for 33 years, and she is the proud mother of two daughters and three grandchildren. She is a member of the Coal City Church of God, where she teaches childrens church and sings in the choir. Debbies favorite part of working at Andrada and Rose Dentistry is making sure patients enjoy their dental experience. Happy kids always make her smile.
Administrative Assistant Melinda is an Administrative Assistant with Andrada and Rose. She attended the Fayette County Vocational Center, where she earned a certification in Legal Machine Transcription, and New River Community College, where she earned a certification in Medical Machine Transcription. She has been happily married for 24 years to her high school sweetheart, and is the proud mother of two boys and has an amazing granddaughter. Around the office, her attention to detail helps things run as smoothly as the motorcycle you might spot her riding around town

Brought my son in and made it to his first appointment. They scheduled my kids on different days so for my other sons first appointment it was 2 weeks out. We had an unexpected emergency and I called to reschedule his first appointment. His appointment was the day before which had slipped my mind as I've been dealing with life, they now refuse to reschedule my second son, and refuse to see my first son anymore due to missing one appointment. They are the only dentistry in town that sees kids under6 years old. It's my fault for letting the appointment slip, but the fact that there are no pardons to their policy is absurd. A policy I was not made aware of. I did still call to try and rectify the issue. But they were very rude and I ended the phone call in tears. Because one missed appointment with one child. Now none of my children are allowed to go back. They are only hurting the kids at that point.

I started out as a patient here and then shadowed this facility a few years later. Both experiences were great. The behind the scenes and patient experience for me was a 10/10. The Dr.'s here are skilled and compassionate.

They took very good care of my son and were very patient him. The dentist came out and introduced himself to me and thanked us for choosing their dentist office. Definitely a great place to take your children.

I am 23 almost 24 and I still remember going here when I was 7 this place needs shut down this place was HORRIBLE and by the reviews they haven't changed. Don't take your kids here!!!!!!!

I went here 17 years ago and still remember kids screaming and nurses taunting us. I am traumatized. do not go to them if you actually love your children. If you are referred here ask for a different referral!! If I could give -100 stars I would.

1 star is being generous. The staff is incredibly rude and completely unhelpful. Their policies, for instance, guardians not being able to accompany their children past a certain, very young and vulnerable age, is absurd and seems sketchy. Dr. Rose preformed my sons dental surgery. Afterwards we had a change in insurance and were no longer in network so we had no other choice but to switch. His new dentist will not do any dental work and referred us back to Dr. Rose, who is refusing to see my son as a new patient because of this brief switch. To be a dentist who specializes in children, Dr. Rose and his wife Dr. Andrada, have little to no regard in providing easily accessible and quality dental services to the children of this community.

My 5 year old daughter had two fillings done in August, 4 months later one of the fillings fell out. It was brown underneath which means the cavity wasn't fully taken out before adding the filling. Today she went back for a cleaning and they told me that is not where the filling was, when I know for a fact that it was. She is absolutely terrified of the dentist after getting fillings alone with the dentist last time. We will NOT be returning, finding a new place ASAP.

My children have been here a couple times and they both hate it. The office will not let you come back with your child so I don't know how things actually happened, but my son had to get numbed for cavity care and he said they began working on his teeth immediately after administering anesthetic, without waiting for him to become numb. He said it was very painful, and he has to try not to cry when speaking about it (he is only 9 years old). More recently, my son had to get a tooth pulled and had an abscess. I tried calling the office multiple times with no answer and a full voicemail box, and even tried emailing and doing an online appointment request. The urgency was made clear in the request, yet it was still 6 days later before I received a call back from the office. I ended up having to take my son to another dentist to have his tooth pulled while waiting to hear back from this office. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend this office for any child.
