Michelle has been with our team since 2009 as a registered dental hygienist having graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2006. She is committed to providing her patients with the highest standard of care by keeping up to date on advancements in dental hygiene treatment. Michelle resides in Southern New Hampshire and enjoys spending time with her husband and their four young boys.
The newest member of our team, Brittney DeVincent joined us in spring of 2016. Brittney is a formally trained Licensed Dental Assistant. She graduated from Northern Essex Community College in 2014 after completing her Dental Assisting program. Prior to Joining our Practice, Brittney worked as a Surgical Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator in an Oral Surgery Practice for 2 years. She is trained in sedation dentistry and is certified in dental billing and coding. Brittney also participates in community service, and has worked in both the CHIPPS and Sealants programs through NECCO. Brittney resides in Haverhill, MA and during her free time enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and boyfriend.
After completing her dental degree and residency in general dentistry in 2002 in Romania, Dr. Maria Dona moved to United States to continue her dental training. She earned her Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from Boston University, and continued her training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she completed a combined program with a Certificate for graduate training in Periodontology and Doctor of Medical Science in Oral Biology Degree.
She continued her studies at Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she was accepted in the Advanced Standing Program and received her DMD degree. Dr. Dona is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been actively involved in basic and clinical research. She authored and co-authored numerous papers and a book in clinical periodontology, as well as presented her work at several dental conferences. She is an active member of several professional associations including the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Harvard Odontological Society, American Academy of Dental Sciences. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and its constituent organizations, including the Merrimack Valley District Dental Society. She is also a member of the Standing Committee for Women in Dentistry. Dr. Dona is committed to integrating her research and clinical experience with the latest procedures and technologies to continually advance in the periodontal and implant fields to best serve each of her patients.
Dr. Dona lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, and they are the proud parents of sons Matthew & Justin. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, such as hiking, canoeing, and skiing.

My daughter had a tongue tie removed with them and it was the best experience we had. Starting from walking into the office with welcoming, friendly staffs to meeting the Doctor. Everything was explain very well step by step. The procedure was done quickly and the best part was that my daughter felt comfortable enough that there was no tears . The follow up visit was great as well, they make sure my daughter understand the right way to brush her teeth. I will recommend this Periodontics office to everyone. I am really glad we got the opportunity for my daughter to be taking care with real professionals.

I could not be happier. Dr. Dona is wonderful, she takes her time and explains everything. I did everything she ask me too, my gums are getting better. The staff is wonderful highly recommend!

I highly recommend this location to anyone needing work done! Their work is outstanding, the change in my gums was seen instantly. I get very nervous going to the dentist so having procedures done on my gums was very scary and daunting to say the least. The doctor takes the time to explain the procedure and reassume me. The nurses are just as caring and always take the extra time to help calm me down.

I had a wonderful experience here! The girls at the front, the assistant who asked me very thorough questions about medical history etc. were all wonderful, and then I met Dr. Dona whose manner was so kind and comforting. Dr. Dona was very thorough, kind and honest with me in a very kind way. As a result of her honesty, I decided to quit my many years smoking habit today for my general health and especially my oral health (or at least try!). It's been tempting to go back but I know I can do this!! Ty Dr. Dona you are a great and compassionate person and I look forward to working with you as a patient! Ty for being so kind and patient with me! Btw I went the entire day with no cigarettes at all ( I threw them away)..
