Andover dentist Dr. Scott P. Sweeney grew up in Long Island, NY. After graduating from high school, Dr. Sweeney served four years in the United States Coast Guard as a health service technician where he found his passion for the field of dentistry.
Dr. Sweeney did his undergraduate studies in Florida and New York. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with honors in 2008. From there he attended one of the top general practice residency programs in the country at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Northport, NY.
Professional Affiliations: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society, Cape Cod Dental Society, New Hampshire Dental Society, Healthy Smiles for Kids Program.

Dr. Sweeney and his staff are the A team! Dr. Mike and Chantelle Soucy treat me like family. I highly recommend Andover Cosmetic Dental Group to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I always feel safe and in caring hands at this dentist office. They take the time to treat you with care and understanding. The staff are very helpful, the hygienists are through and informative, and the dentist are just wonderful. Also they are proud of the work they do for each person. Everyone there makes you feel that you are important to them.

Wonderful visit, Chantel was an amazing young women and awesome hygienist. The office was bright and cheerful. Everyone was pleasent and overall very good experience. I can't thank Chantel enough for her attention to detail and professionalism

First off, I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of the dentist in general but I am committed to proper dental care. The past few months have been hard for me health wise so suffice it to say, I was not looking forward to this appointment. I shared this sentiment with my hygienist and asked for a very gentle (but thorough) cleaning. I can't express how empathic and gentle my hygienist was. I left with sparkly clean teeth and absolutely no discomfort. I so appreciate the approach that he took yesterday. I'm sure he had no idea how much I needed such a gentle and caring appointment but he really delivered. Thank you!!!
