Dr. Lauren Anderson received her B.S. in Biology, D.D.S., and M.S. in Periodontics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Anderson is a Michigan Board certified Periodontist and diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
During her masters training, she completed her thesis on implant-related soft tissue augmentation, published research articles in reputable implant and orthodontic journals, and lectured on topics in the implant and periodontic fields. She was elected as an American Academy of Periodontology Student Ambassador and served on the Advanced Dental Education Honor System Review Committee among other positions.
Dr. Andersonis a recipient of theDr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer Scholar Award of Excellence, Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence, Billy A. Smith Award, the Ben Duff Fellowship Award, Russell W. Bunting Study Club Award, and Michigan Dental Association Young Dentist Award among others. While at the University of Michigan, she was elected as an American Academy of Periodontology Ambassador and served on the Advanced Dental Education Honor System Review Committee among other positions.In her spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing sports, and traveling.

The best gum graft surgeon in Michigan! Most members of my family have had it done and Anderson did an amazing job! Even other dentists comment on it! She reassured me before the procedure and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible during the procedure. I had a few hiccups afterwards with healing but Dr Anderson was there to make sure I was ok and let me contact her after hours. The surgery healed up after sometime and I couldn't be happier with it. Thank you for saving my gums and my teeth and I'll be back for more in the future! Thank you!

This was my first dental implant . Dr Anderson was very professional and caring during my initial consultation and my procedure. She explained the procedure as she was performing the work and was very careful to make sure I was comfortable during the whole treatment. I was very pleased with how pain free it was and how the staff was very comforting during my appointment. The Dr called me later that day to make sure all was good and then had follow up appts to insure everything was progressing.

First of all, Anderson Periodontal Wellness is a beautiful office with great staff to match it! Walking in, it is clean and comfortable. The receptionist is always quick to check me in and out. My wait time in the waiting room has never been more than 5 minutes, and even that was a rarity. All of the staff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and great at communicating with me about exactly what was going to happen that day. Dr. Anderson is very personable and easy to converse with, so any procedure really doesn't seem scary or uncomfortable with the good conversation flowing!

I was referred to Dr. Anderson by my general dentist for a crown lengthening procedure in preparation for veneers. From the very first moment I stepped into the office I was impressed with the technology and overall aesthetics. Dr. Anderson herself is truly one of a kind. Within the first few moments of meeting with her I could already tell that she was playing on expert level. The amount of knowledge she clearly posses in her discipline was striking and her passion really shone through in conversation. Her skill only outmatched by her "bedside manner". Something about her overall demeanor made me feel so comfortable every step of the way. I was extremely pleased with the results of the procedure. Her artistic hand lended well in creating a noticeable difference in my smile. Like many others have mentioned, she followed up personally after the procedure to check-in. So sweet! I had also emailed her with a follow-up question well after business hours and was shocked that she replied almost immediately! It is so obvious that her practice and her patients are a huge priority for her personally, and that is not only appreciated but admirable. My only disappointment is that I won't have any reason to go back now!

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. From the first contact the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. When I went in for the consult I knew I that I would not look any further. The office is clean and modern and technology makes the process seamless from beginning to end. I wanted to get in before the end of the year to maximize my benefits and they placed me on the waitlist. Within a day they had two options for me to come in! The procedure was painless and efficient. From pre-op to recovery. Grade A! Thanks again to the staff. 5 stars well earned.

Dr. Anderson didn't just transform my smile her expertise changed my life. prior to going to Dr. Anderson I was suffering from trigeminal neuralgia she was very thorough and carefully worked to graph my gums and covered my exposed nerve. My gums are healing and for the first time in a year I am not experiencing pain from my trigeminal neuralgia. I will go back to Dr. Anderson for any future work needed and I would recommend Dr. Anderson to anyone needing periodontal treatment! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Anderson!

This is the best smile-saving office that I've ever seen!! Dr.Anderson is a wonderful person, and a great doctor. She is respectful, knowledgeable, nice, and she has the best bed-side manner. She totally understood my concerns and approached them in the best way. She answered all of my questions and more. This is a periodontist that you can totally trust. The office is clean and super organized, and ALL team members are pleasant (receptionists, assistants, hygienists). They treat patients gently and respectfully, which alleviates the stress that any person might have when visiting a dental office. The hygienist that I worked with was Rachel, and she is so amazing. Dr. Anderson is terrific. My wife had a procedure and was having a lot of problems afterwards. Dr. Anderson - at almost 11pm at night - left her home and came back to her office to help my wife. I was not happy with my service here. No thorough examination with what i got done. Anytime I asked a question, the assistant would say "don't worry she knows what she's doing." Even when I would ask dr Anderson, she would bring up how she has her masters and know what she's doing. Was not happy with the results at all. Regret coming here.

Dr. Anderson is kind, compassionate and highly skilled. She gave me my life back! A former dentist performed a tongue tie surgery that went wrong. For five months I couldn't function due to daily pain at an 8/9. Dr. Anderson was able to remove all the scar tissue and clean up the damage. Now I wake up in the morning with a pain level of ZERO! She exceeded my expectations! I will forever be indebted to Dr. Anderson and her great staff!

Dr. Anderson was so willing to provide me with any and all information I desired. More than that, she followed up with me personally. As someone who works in dental, I know this can be difficult as doctors already fill so much of their time fulfilling the needs of their patients. I will never go anywhere else for an implant. Not only was the procedure so easy for me, I experienced very minimal soreness from my bone graph or my implant. You really could not find a better doctor for your implant or periodontal health. As a physician I am quite particular about my care. Dr Anderson is phenomenal. She is the periodontist that is recommended the most and is considered to be the best in the area. She has fantastic clinical skills with a very kind and warm bedside manner. She is attentive and caring. Her office staff is wonderful and her office is pristine. I personally had a dental implant with her and was so very impressed with her and her practice. If you select her practice you will be so grateful that you did. I would give Dr Anderson infinite stars if I could!
