Dr. Kevin is a board certified pediatric dentist. He received his undergraduate degree at University of Georgia , graduated dental school in the top 10% of his class at Boston University , and completed a two-year pediatric residency through Lutheran Medical center in Hawaii, where he was named Chief Resident. Dr. Kevin then spent four years on the Big Island, where he served as Dental Director for the West Hawaii Community Health Center.

But Dr. Kevin is so much more than his education! Hes a person and he treats you and your kids like people, too. As a father of three young children, he gets it. He understands that going to the dentist can be stressful and a little scary, too. He uses each visit to help build a healthy and trusting relationship with each child. Dr. Kevin treats each kid just like he would treat his own. He can even be funny, too if you like dad jokes.

While in Boston and Hawaii, Dr. Kevin treated many severe dental issues and was exposed to a vast array of pediatric dental problems and treatment procedures. He also became a competent and compassionate advocate for special needs patients. Hes sensitive to the many cultures and backgrounds that make up a community and strives to make each patient feel at home in his Anderson office.

After six years in Hawaii, Dr. Kevin and his wife made the decision to move back south to raise their three children close to family and surrounded by good people, good manners and football! When not fighting cavities, Dr. Kevin is spending time with his family. He loves sports, especially college football- Go Dawgs! Dr. Kevin is also involved in the Anderson community, where he enjoys coaching youth soccer and serves on the board for the Anderson Art Center.

Dr. Kat should have been born in the south. A Clemson fan through and through, she came to South Carolina from Michigan when she received a swimming scholarship to Clemson University . She excelled in both academics and athletics, being named a four-time academic All-American and co-captain of her team her junior and senior years. Making the south her home, she attended dental school and completed her pediatric residency in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina.

While in dental school, Dr. Kat became passionate about providing quality dental care to children, volunteering her time at a clinic for those without access to dental care. Dr. Kat is kind and warm and has a way of gaining the trust of each child she sees. Her love of children shows with each interaction and she strives to build good memories with each visit. Dr. Kat is also an enthusiastic supporter of the Special Olympics and shows great kindness and care to her special needs patients.

Dr. Kat has three boys and appreciates the challenges of both pediatric dentistry and parenting. She loves spending time with her husband and kids, being active and outdoors and staying involved in her church community.

Our doctors bring a wealth of knowledge, care and compassion to the Anderson community. As parents, they understand the concerns of both child and parent. They want every child to have a beautiful smile and feel good about going to the dentist, and for every parent to feel comfortable, educated and respected. Dr. Kevin and Dr. Kat would love to give you and your child Something to Smile About.

This place did very poor work on my child's teeth. I will forever regret taking my kid here. She has tooth pain everyday from their poor work on putting caps on her teeth. Which, I do not think she needed. Please get a second opinion when your child needs dental work. I wish I would have.

These guys are so caring. They have always been very helpful and kind in explaining what will be happening with any procedures my child has had. They are great at calming nerves (I mean my nerves...).

APD is top notch. Literally from the first point of contact to out the door everyone is so amazing and helpful. They are patient with even the most fearful of kids. And even over the phone or email, they really take care of you.

I was simply confused about the steps before our appointment, and the (receptionist?) there was super rude! It's a shame because the dentist there was very nice and we were looking forward to continuing to use them. Being talked down to like this from someone you are about to take you child to for medical procedures is very off putting! With there being so many competitors in the area, I would really consider hiring staff with better guest service skills. A bad patient coordinator can lose you a lot of money.

Not the best but not the worst. Came here for awhile before switching due to distance actually. I just really couldn't see eye to eye with the older woman that was Dr. Kevin's assistant. Not someone I think needs to be in the Pediactric field in my opinion but the doctor his self was good! I also had an issue with the receptionist cutting off my sentences or hanging up on me. As a positive note however, this facility is really good with special needs patients.

They know how to keep the little ones still and relaxed for a (sometimes) scary experience. It was a relatively stress free experience for me and my son actually enjoyed it and wants to go back to see his dentist!

I'm so thankful Anderson Pediatric Dentistry was recommended to us when we moved to Anderson! Dr. Kevin has the kindest bedside manner with my children and I really appreciate his ability and willingness to thoughtfully and patiently explain procedures to my kids (ages 5 and 7) to help ease any nerves and answer any questions. The dental hygienists are friendly and thorough and treat my kids like friends. We're very pleased with their services and trust them completely with our children's care.
