Dr. Mark Anderson was born in Payson, Utah, but grew up in the Midwest. He graduated from University High School in Colorado. He served a two-year mission for his church in Jacksonville, Florida. After his mission, he attended Brigham Young University in Utah, where he graduated with a bachelors degree in science. He attended the University of Missouri Kansas City and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Anderson is happily married and has four children. He has been practicing dentistry since 1997 and loving it. He loves people and enjoys helping them improve their smiles. When Dr. Anderson is not hard at work, he volunteers his time with Team Smile and Give A Kid A Smile as a way to give back to the community. Dr. Anderson also enjoys walking his dog and spending time with family.
Velia was born in Managua, Nicaragua. She came to the U.S. in 1987 and lived in Van Nuys, California. She moved with her family to Tucson, Arizona, where she graduated from Rincon High School. She learned English in high school and loved it. She did long distance running in her track team in high school. She started in dentistry in 2000 when Dr. Anderson opened his practice. She is happily married and has four children. She enjoys taking pictures and going to Disneyland.
Bailee graduated with her associate degree in dental hygiene from Carrington College in November 2016. She joined Anderson Family Dentistry in 2021 and loves being part of a practice that genuinely cares about their patients and about their oral health education. Bailee plays an important part in helping our patients learn about and understand what is going on in their mouths. She and her husband have been married for five years. Her husband is a nurse, and they have one daughter. Bailee loves spending time with her family and spending as much time as possible at the lake or beach!
Esther is the youngest of four kids. She is native to Mesa, Arizona. She is currently attending ALA Gilbert North High School. She started as an intern, helping to clean operatories, taking on light janitorial duties and setting up operatories. She loves to bake and hopes to open her own business in the future. After graduating from high school, she hopes to serve a church mission.
Jennifer is a native to Arizona. She is one out of seven siblings. She graduated from Queen Creek High School. She is happily married and has two energetic boys. On her days off, she is taking kids to soccer or football practice. She enjoys the outdoors and loves dentistry. She joined our office in 2008 and is more like a family member now. She started as an assistant and transitioned to the front office. She loves people and helping them with insurance and dental treatment questions.
Sarah was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She is the third-oldest of four kids. She graduated from ALA Gilbert North High School. She loves soccer and has played on AYSO, NYSA, Club and high school teams. She enjoys art, music and sleep. She grew up in the dental office since her dad is the dentist. She used to welcome patients when she was a toddler, and since she graduated, she is an official part of our team, working as an assistant since 2020.

First time I have ever felt so calm and confident when I need dental care. Dr Anderson is an artist with his beautiful work, He improved my smile 100%! When I needed dental implants for my front teeth Dr Anderson referred me to an excellent oral surgeon. Dr Anderson is gentle and accurate with the numbing injections. Dr Anderson's beautiful skilled compassionate staff treats you like family.

Dr. Anderson was really aloof and unprofessional during my appointment. Told me he had "seen worse coming from Mexico" when talking about how my orthodontist had messed up my bite.

We were looking for a good dentist for our young daughters, the staff is wonderful with kids making them feel comfortable and at ease with going to the dentist. Both my wife and I really enjoy going as well. The Anderson Family Dentistry lives up to its name and has the best culture of any business. Thank you and keep up the great work... ... Update 2021, the family is still going to the Anderson Family Dentistry, can't recommend the practice enough, great experience and wonderful family friendly environment.

I have always been nervous about going to the dentist. Some upsetting childhood memories. Dr Anderson and his staff took time to ease my anxiety, discussed my options and answered all my questions. My first visit was in March. Our plan was to get me on track which included assessing where I was and needed to go. It's November and I'm now on track. I'm also not afraid to go to the dentist. Thank you.

Had my first visit with Dr. Anderson today, and it was an excellent experience. Dr. Anderson and his staff were kind, thorough, and informative. I was seen very promptly and with absolutely zero difficulties. I would recommend them to anyone - thanks again!

Dr. Anderson saw me for an appointment on short notice for a broken tooth. He did excellent work in repairing the problem, was thorough in his explanation, and very professional. Office staff were also very helpful. I recommend Dr. Anderson for dental care.

If you ever need a dentist Dr. Anderson is your guy! Not only is he great his staff is exceptional as well and so friendly. I honestly feel important and cared about when I go there. Dr. A did a front crown on one of my front two teeth and it has changed/improved my smile in the best way. I use to not smile and hide my mouth because of how insecure I was. I don't have that problem anymore thanks to Dr. A. I get complements on my smile daily. Thanks to Dr. Anderson and his staff they got me smiling all the time!

Dr. Anderson and staff were amazing!! I had a dental emergency, i was in a lot of pain from a tooth that broke in half and they took care of me quickly, efficiently and very caring!! Dr. Anderson explained very well my options and was patient to make sure i would feel no pain, I appreciated that so much!!!! His staff kept me informed with details of my insurance coverage n my part of the cost. I highly recommend Dr. Anderson to all friends and family. Best dentist from the first call through the consultation. Explained everything as it was being done. Didn't hurt, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Honest. Didn't recommend any unnecessary work. Accepted insurance with no added costs. You will be very pleased.
