Dr. Erick Anderson was born and raised in Colorado Springs. As the son of our practices founder Dr. Richard Anderson, he developed an interest in dentistry at an early age. He literally grew up around it, and he loved watching his dad interact with patients and help them in meaningful ways every day. This instilled a sense of service in him at a very young age, so it wasnt much of a surprise when he eventually enrolled in dental school.
After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University, Dr. Anderson went on to earn his dental degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1994 and began private practice in Colorado Springs in 2002.
Dr. Anderson is truly passionate about dentistry and is committed to providing patients with world-class dental care using state-of-the-art equipment and the latest techniques. He has devoted himself to learning from the best minds in dentistry and staying on the cutting edge of the field by taking extensive continuing education courses on a variety of dental topics, including dental implants and smile design.
He has completed training at the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute and also attended the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in Florida, where he learned advanced techniques to treat TMJ and occlusal problems.
When he's not working, Dr. Anderson loves spending time with his family in the great Colorado outdoors. He is an avid bicyclist and skier. He also enjoys fly fishing, camping, and listening to music. Dr. Anderson also believes in giving back to the community by donating dental services to underprivileged children and is an active member of the Colorado Springs Rotary Club.
Katie originally hails from Valley Center, CA. She has spent several years working as both a dental assistant and a front office admin today, her overall career in the field covers over two decades. She loves being able to help people smile through her work!
Katie and her husband Steve have two children named Kyle and Tori. When she isnt busy at the practice, she enjoys practicing photography, doing all sorts of fun arts/crafts, and fixing hair and nails for herself and others.
Abby is a Certified Dental Assistant; she is also a Colorado Native! She received her Dental Assistant Certification in Florida while living there. She then moved back to beautiful Colorado to continue her dental career. Abby had a unique opportunity to work in an Oral Surgery office for a few years before she continued her career at a general dental practice. She brings an additional unique insight to our back-office team. In her free time, she likes to enjoy the beauty of Colorado hiking with her dog Gunner.
Danielles career in the oral healthcare world spans over 20 years, and she always looks forward to meeting and helping new people here at Anderson Family Dental. Her education includes Dental Assisting at Heritage Health College, she then went to dental hygiene school in the Madison area. She is also certified in anesthetic and laser dentistry.
Danielle and her husband Ken have four children named Kasey, Briana, Vance, and Danicka, as well as two young grandchildren named Sofia and Bradley. When she isnt busy at work, spending quality time with her family is always a top priority! Some of her other hobbies include being outdoors, hiking, and reading.
Jean is a Colorado native and has spent nearly 40 years in the field of dentistry. She joined Anderson Family Dental in 2008, and her education includes studies at Northwestern University in addition to certifications in CPR, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide sedation. Jean enjoys working at a practice that serves the community, and she also likes building long-lasting relationships with our patients and other team members.
Alexis is a Colorado native who has grown up in dental offices. Her grandfather was a dentist in Colorado Springs and her mother has been in the dental field for 30 years. Alexis began as a dental assistant then transitioned to study dental hygiene at Pueblo Community College. She loves helping patients adopt better habits for their oral health which can transform their over-all wellness. Alexis is excited to have a life long career in the dental profession.
Pam is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant at Anderson Family Dental. Originally from Wisconsin, she received her Certified Dental Assistant degree at Lakeshore Technical College and moved to Colorado when she heard the mountains calling her. She obtained her EDDA certificate at PIMA Medical Institute and loves every aspect of dentistry, but by far; the most enjoyable is getting to know her patients. Pam and her husband spend their playtime in the mountains camping, fishing and hiking with their four-legged furry friend, and she is pretty skilled in archery!
Jasmine joined our team in 2021. She likes to hike the incline, in the summer months of course! Jasmine likes to watch Crime T.V. Series and she enjoys Hip Hop and Jazz music. Jasmine is a Colorado native and loves living and exploring here. She is a PIMA Dental Assistant Graduate, and we are happy to have her on our team.
Nina is actually from Berlin, Germany originally, and her career in dentistry covers over eight years so far. She attended both Pikes Peak Community College and Pima Medical Institute for her education and is a certified dental assistant. She loves helping patients smile through her job!
At home, Nina is married and a proud fur baby mama. Her passionate include photography, arts and crafts, listening to music, and spending plenty of time being outside in beautiful Colorado. She speaks German fluently.
Mayra joined Anderson Family Dental in January 2019. Mayra is originally from San Diego, CA. She loves all the sunshine Colorado offers and loves to take advantage of it by enjoying time outdoors with her family. She has been married for over a decade and has 2 beautiful children, Anthony and Arya. Mayra spent a couple of years at Pikes Peak Community College furthering her education before joining our dental team. She speaks Spanish fluently; Mayra has been a great addition to our dental team.
