Combining skill, experience and a compassionate manner, Dr. Mark Anderson is proud to serve Wheatland and surrounding communities in southeastern Wyoming. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Mark Anderson was born and raised in South Dakota. He was a medic in the first Iraq war, Desert Storm. He then completed his undergraduate at South Dakota State and the University of South Dakota and attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, graduating in 1994. He joined his brother and sister-in-law, Drs. Chuck and Kathy Anderson, in Pierre, South Dakota for one year and then moved to Wheatland, Wyoming. He opened Anderson Dental in 1995.
Dr. Anderson and his staff take pride in offering exceptional dental care centered on the comfort and specific needs of their patients. He believes in individualizing his treatments, taking the time to educate patients about their options and helping them to set realistic goals.
Both Dr. Anderson and his staff are committed to furthering their education as part of their effort to bring their patients only the latest, most effective dental techniques and services. His office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that even the most complex dental procedures will be as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Everyone truly wants to do whatever they can to help their patients achieve the beautiful, vibrant smiles they desire.
Because Dr. Anderson feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Wyoming Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also currently enrolled in the Post-graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
In his personal life, Dr. Anderson has been married to his wife, Sherri, since 1994. Sherri is the office manager for Anderson Dental. She also attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and received her Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. She is licensed as a private practitioner for the state of Wyoming. They have five children and enjoy raising them in Wheatland. Dr. Anderson and his wife enjoy hunting, boating, skiing, snowmobiling and music.

Our professional staff is trained and skilled, and each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars, such as the Midwinter Dental Convention held in Denver, Colorado.
Sherri is the Office Manager for Anderson Dental. She attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and received her masters degree in Speech Pathology. She works part-time as a Speech Language Clinician for Platte County School District #1. Sherri is married to Dr. Mark Anderson, and they have five children. They enjoy raising them in Wheatland. Sherri enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her family.
Our Dental Assistant and has been a team member since Spring of 2013. She was raised in Minnesota but has been a Wheatland resident for 14 years. Charisma is married to the love of her life, Chase. They have an amazing son, Winston, whom they love spending time with. You can always find her hiking, playing mini golf, or spending quality time with her family. Charismas favorite thing about working at Anderson Dental is meeting and interacting with all our great patients.
Our team Dental Assistant that has been with us since April 2017. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, she made the move to Wheatland in 2002. Melissa is blessed with 4 children, Joe, Cody, Mekayla, Mekenna and an amazing husband Perry. The family doesnt stop there however, they also have 1 bird, 5 cats, 5 fish, and 3 dogs! As a family, they love to go to the lake, camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with their friends and family. Melissas favorite part about being a team member of Anderson Dental is that its altogether just a fun job, from the amazing patients to the work itself, Melissa loves her career!
Our newest Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. Born and raised in Newcastle, Wyoming Bethany chose to further her education at Sheridan College for 4 years where she also was given the opportunity to play soccer. Whether its hunting, fishing, or hiking you can always find her outdoors. Spending her time outside of work with her friends, family, and golden retriever Murphy are at the top of her favorite things to do. Bethany has been with us since June of 2018 and is devoted to providing the utmost individualized care and education for our patients!
Our Dental Hygiene Assistant is the newest member of our team, joining us in August of 2021. She was born and raised in Wheatland. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She enjoys articipating in barrel races and rodeos in her free time. Her next goal is to see the ocean. Her favorite part of working for Anderson Dental has been getting to know our patients and helping them with their oral health.
Our Account Manager, Allison was raised in Wisconsin and Washington. She moved to the great state of Wyoming in 2009. She relocated to Wheatland in the Fall of 2014 with her husband and two sons. I enjoy spending time hunting, camping, and riding 4 wheelers with my family and friends. Allisons family has a goal to hit every National Park in the country! Allisons favorite part about being a team member of Anderson Dental is the staff and the patients whom provide a great family atmosphere.
Laramie was born in Kentucky but was raised in Cheyenne until 2012 when she moved to Colorado where she was a dental assistant for 5 years. She returned to Wyoming in the summer of 2021 with her husband Samuel and their daughter Emerson, along with their 2 dogs. Laramie enjoys the outdoors such as camping, hunting, and going on weekend road trips to new places with her little family. They are also big fans of Star Wars and will always be down for a movie marathon! Laramie's favorite part about being a team member of Anderson Dental is working with a close community and getting to know the patients. She enjoys being in the dental field overall!
