Throughout his years practicing, Dr. Anderson has kept up-to-date with the latest procedures and equipment. This, coupled with his extensive experience, gives him an expert and practiced hand at even the most complicated procedures. It also helps him provide a very efficient, comfortable and gentle dental experience, so that even the dental cowards will feel relaxed in his office.
Dr. Steven Anderson is a vital part of the Grand Island Community, practicing here for over 40 years and participating in many community activities. Born in Douglas, Wyoming, he soon became a Nebraska resident, graduating from the University of Nebraska pre-dental program and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry. He practiced in Battle Creek, NE for 9 months before moving to Grand Island. He loves Grand Island and loves what he does, and intends to serve the community for many more years.
Dr. Anderson is the past president of the Americas Dentists Care Foundation, past president of the Hall County Dental Society, past board member of the Nebraska Dental Foundation, served as both the Vice President and Secretary / Treasurer of the Nebraska Mission of Mercy and was a member of the Deans Advisory Committee for the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry.
Dr. Anderson was Grand Islands Man of the Year in 2011, Third City Clinic Dentist of the Year, received the Nebraska Dental Community Service Award, was a Paul Harris Fellow Rotary Award recipient, Co-Chair of the 2008 United Way Campaign, a Team Mates Mentor volunteer, and served as President for the Riverside Golf Club for several years. He earned the title of Mr. Habitat in 2017 and currently serves on the Stuhr Museum Foundation Board of Directors. Dr. Anderson looks forward to continue helping wherever needed in the future.
Dr. Anderson is married with two wonderful children; daughter Arica McNutt, a cosmetologist and specialist with Dr. Schlesinger in Omaha and son Aric Anderson, who is a tile setter and also lives in Omaha. He and his wife, Charla, enjoy visiting family, entertaining at home, and the good natured company of two dogs Dexter and Doogan. Dr. Anderson especially enjoys woodworking, hunting, helping others, travel to Wyoming and Mexico and of course everything that goes along with living in Grand Island.
Our office is modern, comfortable, has state-of-the-art facilities and is up-to-date with technology. We are very proud of our team, most of whom have been with us for a long time. They are all very well trained, truly enjoy their jobs and will make sure you are given good service and are seen on time. They are a friendly, caring team who provide a personal touch.
Cindy enjoys practicing dental hygiene with the experienced team members at Anderson Dental Care and appreciates the relationships she has established with the patients, both young and older. She routinely attends continuing dental education programs and maintains a license to practice with the State of Nebraska.
Cindy lives in Loup City with her husband, John. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. She is currently serving on the Board of Education for Loup City Public Schools and enjoys volunteer work, walking, reading and most of all, spending time with her family.
I began my career in 1991 after graduating from CCC in Hastings, NE with my degree in Dental Assisting. I went on to get my certification in 1997 to become a CDA. I am very passionate about my career & caring for patients.
I have one daughter who is a Senior in High School and will graduate in May and attend UNK this fall. I enjoy volleyball and softball. I also enjoy running & physical exercise. Watching NU volleyball & football are a couple favorite pastimes especially with friends and family.
