As a general dentist since 2004, and an orthodontist since 2010, Dr. Anthony Ditcharo has a unique focus on overall dental health and how it affects each persons smile, as well as their facial balance, TMJ function, and airway.
Dr. Ditcharo received his dental degree from the University of Mississippi, and then completed a residency program in advanced dentistry at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. While in residency in Nevada, Dr. Ditcharo worked several evenings per week in a local childrens health clinic. He is at ease treating patients of all ages, but it was there that he found the joy of working with children.
Dr. Ditcharo then moved back to Mississippi to practice general dentistry alongside his father. By incorporating braces into his general dental office, he began to see the challenge and satisfaction of orthodontics. In 2007, he was accepted to the orthodontic residency program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. This program has a heavy emphasis on comprehensive orthodontic treatment and its residents treat more patients per year than almost any other orthodontic program in the United States. One reason he chose to attend Albert Einstein was for its extensive training in surgical orthodontics, as well as the treatment of TMJ disorders and various craniofacial disorders such as cleft palate.
Dr. Ditcharo and his wife, Jennifer, live in Green Hills. They have been blessed with three children: Dylan (2007), Eden (2009), and Charlotte (2013). Outside of the office, he enjoys watching Ole Miss Football, going to live music events, working in his yard, and exploring the lakes of Tennessee.
Dr. Arthur Anderson has been creating beautiful smiles in Nashville since 1991. Dr. Andersons success has been built one patient at a time with individualized treatment plans that combine traditional, time-tested approaches with advanced treatment techniques to create each individuals beautiful smile.
A native of Kentucky, Dr. Anderson graduated from Western Kentucky University where he earned degrees in Biology and Public Relations while lettering on the universitys tennis team. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville (U of L) in 1986. While there, he served as Class President and received the Outstanding Graduating Student Award from the U of L Faculty.
Following graduation, he practiced as a general dentist alongside his father for two years before returning to graduate studies at the University of Manitoba where he earned his Certificate of Orthodontics and Master of Science degree.

I had my own braces here as a teenager and had such a wonderful experience that I have my daughter going there now. Dr. Anderson, Dr. Ditcharo, and the whole team are amazing.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Today I finished a 28 month long journey with traditional braces. At not quite 20 years old, I assumed I would be treated like a kid. I was very wrong! The doctors and staff at AD orthodontics are phenomenal. Bittersweet knowing that I won't be coming in anymore to see these guys every month. I am more than happy with how my teeth look. Highly recommend.

Dr. Anderson is a consummate professional! If you choose to go here brace yourself for a top notch visit! He is one of the best doctors that I've experienced. It's been over 10 years since having my braces done by him and my experience has been perfect. Even as kid when I'd dread visiting the doctor, his office always put me at ease. I frequently hear other kids having a great experience as well. Keep up the great work Doctor and thank you for the superb care you give to patients.

My retainer popped off randomly this morning and most ortho places were closed or closing early on friday- I called and they had me come in right away! Dr. Ditcharo was super nice and talked through everything with me! Makes me wish i had to go to the ortho more often

My permanent retainer got loose while I was on vacation in Nashville. After having called I don't know how many orthodontics this was the only one helping walk-ins, and I couldn't be happier about their help. The orthodontist and the assistant were really kind, and it's probably the best orthodontic experience I've ever had - I even liked it better than the one I have at home in Holland. Thank you so, so much for helping me out!

I hadn't been to an orthodontist in years, but my permanent retainer broke this afternoon and needed to go in. This office was able to get me in the same day and was incredible! I was a last minute add on to the end of their schedule, but I was still treated with care and respect. The Dr. and staff went above and beyond in patient care! I enjoyed everyone I came in contact with. Thank you!!

I highly recommend Dr. Anderson and his practice. I have a lot of experience with adult orthodontic treatment as I've had 3 teeth/jaw surgeries and 3+ years of braces out of state (and a very complicated case). I went to Dr. Anderson for a second opinion and am very glad I did. I simply needed a permanent retainer replaced on my front four teeth as mine had recently popped off after two years post treatment. I went to another orthodontist in the area who told me my recommended treatment plan was invisalign in order to perfect my teeth prior to replacing the permanent retainer. After 3 surgeries and braces for 3+ years in my mid twenties and almost $17,000 in out of pocket in expenses, this is not the news I was expecting or wanting. Dr. Anderson gave me a second opinion. He was friendly, honest, provided me a full examination, and reviewed my x-rays. He said I didn't even need my permanent retainer replaced, explained why in detail, and said that he would adjust my plastic/metal night retainers for me free of charge. A lot of orthodontists will "churn" you through the treatment and are incentivized to over-charge and try to get as much money out of you as they can. Dr. Anderson is NOT one of these orthodontists. After spending 15-20 minutes with him, I knew he was the right fit for me. Keep up the good work Dr. Anderson and team!

When it's all said and done, I'm not completely satisfied with my teeth after braces. My oldest daughter and I have completed treatments there, but I have chosen another orthodontist for my youngest daughter where I find the service to be more of a personal and caring experience. That being said, going to Anderson Ortho was good but not great.
