Dr. Mark Anderko Sr. brings over 30 years of clinical experience toAnderkoDental Care. He graduated from Loyola University in Chicago in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.He continued there to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1984. Since then, Dr. Anderko Sr. has invested his time and resources into furthering his clinical skills and education. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society
Dr. Anderko Sr. is a proud Chicagoan and native to the Harwood Heights area. He attended Divine Savior grammar school in Norridge and Holy Cross High School in River Grove. He feels privileged to use his experience to serve the community he loves. Outside of work, Dr. Anderko Sr. loves spending time with his wife of over 35 years, three children, and two grandchildren.
Dr. Mark J. Anderko Jr. is happy to return to the Chicago area to continue his dental practice. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis in 2012.
Dr. Anderko Jr. joined the United States Navy in2008,and served as a Lieutenant treating members of the military after graduation from dental school. During his naval dental career, Dr. Anderko Jr. practiced alongside incredible specialists to advance his skills in endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, operative dentistry, periodontics, and oral diagnosis.Dr. Anderko Jr. was honored to serve the dental needs of the Sailors and Marines at Great Lakes Naval Station (North Chicago, Illinois), Marine Corps Air Station and Parris Island Training Command (Beaufort, South Carolina). In 2016, he completed duty with the U.S. Navy, during which he received several commendations and awardsfromhis service and leadership. Dr. Anderko Jr. is grateful for the opportunity the Navy has afforded him to serve our country while continuing to grow as a clinician.
Dr. Sarah Anderkos educational and professional experiences have provided her withthoroughknowledge of comprehensive patient care. In 2009, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish from Indiana University in Bloomington. She continued her education at Indiana University in Indianapolis, where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013.
She has a passion for treating pediatricpatients,and has found that treating children is one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry. Dr. Sarah Anderko loves that dentistry presents her with new challenges every day, and she enjoys helping her patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society.

I had a great Experience with Mark. and staff. Very professional and polite. Hygienist- was very gentle and took her time while explaining everything along the way. I'm use to the rush, rush, get them in, get them out experience. Not the case at Anderko's. GREAT PLACE OVERALL. See you guys again in six months.

Anderko Dental is the best! Always 5 star service. I have been going to this practice for over 20 years and always refer anyone who needs a good dentist to Anderko Dental. My family started out with Dr. Anderko senior and now we have Dr. Anderko junior and he is just the same as his dad. Two doctors you can depend on for wonderful work. How lucky can you get? You can be sure of a good story and a laugh while getting work done. Office help is friendly and always willing to help. "Love This Place"

I haven't seen a dentist in 8 years (don't judge me!) & they were in-network for my insurance. Everyone I met in the office is so kind, friendly & helpful! From the front desk, to the hygienist Carlita, to the dentist (Anderko, Sr.) and the 2 other assistants I saw - just a very welcoming family practice. Carlita and Dr. Anderko, Sr. really took their time to explain everything that was going on and what to expect going forward. I have my next 3 appts scheduled and I rest easy knowing that my mouth's health and care are in very capable, knowledgeable and kind, caring hands. Thank you all so much!

I'm a newer patient, 4 visits to Dr. Anderko so far and each time, the reception, assistants, hygienist, pretty much everyone in the office, has made it a welcoming and surprisingly fun experience. Yes, fun!? Who says that about their dentist?? If you're looking for a great dentist with a comforting, lighthearted atmosphere, Dr. Anderko's team is that gem of professionalism. I can't stop looking at the tooth he repaired today in the mirror. I'm so glad I found them.

I absolutely love that every time I walk into this office I feel welcomed and so comfortable! Dr. Anderko Sr. and Dr. Anderko Jr. are both awesome and I have enjoyed my time at this office. Who says that about a dentist office right?! From the hygienist to the receptionist - You are made to feel welcomed and you will truly build a relationship with these professionals. They provide exceptional service and affordable plans when insurance coverage may be limited. I've been through my fair share of bad dentists... you will not find that here! They work with and for you to meet your dental needs, while always keeping your best interest at the forefront of what they do. I honestly can't say enough good things about this office! The only downside I would have to say is that you have to book a bit ahead of time but over the past year or so I'd say that has gotten a lot better and they have increased the range of availability. Although, when I did have an emergency they made sure to get me in right away!

I had a dental emergency yesterday and because of the holidays it was very hard to get an appt even my general dentist didn't take me, but I'm so grateful I found this dental office wow!! They are amazing from the front desk to Dr Mark!! They were so nice to me. Dr Mark took his time to explain to me everything that was going on. I feel so much better today and I'm definitely going back to him for all my dental treatment and also referring my friends and family to them. I've never been to a dental office where they treat you with so much patience and kindness. I recommend them 100% they are very friendly and very profesional!

My first impression of this place was great. I hard a little trouble finding it but after I did everything was smooth. There is a good amount of parking near the office. The staff was very welcoming, first thing I saw when I walked in was warm smiles and a big hello. Everyone was friendly and very experienced. Loved the family feel they had. If you are looking for a new dentist would highly recommend Anderko.

Really happy to have found Dr. Mark and Anderko Dental Care. Went to Dr. Mark for a second opinion after I felt uneasy about procedures that another dentist was claiming that I needed. Dr. Mark was incredibly understanding and took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and what my options were. I really think that Anderko Dental Care saved me a lot of headaches (and tooth aches) and now I am happy to have found a new dentist I can trust!
