For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards.
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card. We also offer payment plans to make dentistry affordable.
Dr Caven-Nwagwu has several years of experience in the practice of dentistry. Dr. Caven received her Bachelors of Science degree and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from Howard University, College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. She went on and completed a Post-Doctoral General Practice Dental Residency program at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York. She served as a Clinical Faculty at the University of Detroit mercy, School of Dentistry and currently is an Adjunct clinical faculty and Staff at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dedicated to remaining on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr Caven continually completes advanced continuing education courses. She is certified with several years of experience in clear aligner therapy through Invisalign and completed a postdoctoral F.O.R.C.E International Orthodontic Internship in Birmingham, Michigan. She is also a member of Spear education club, and has had the opportunity to complete several courses in restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry.
In addition to being a dentist, Dr Caven is also an accomplished artist with a great eye for detail. (Art Gallery) She uses her creativity to create natural looking smiles. Her attention to detail and genuine care for patients is what sets her apart. Memberships include Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Dental association . Committed to community service, Dr Caven started the Anchor Smiles Community programs, which has partnered with, local and national charities to provide, funding and donations to our local communities and Veterans . A strong advocate for education, Dr Caven also created the Anchor Future Dentist program which gives high school students and pre-dental students the opportunity to shadow a dentist.
Dr. Devi Kapur graduated from the University Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry 2017. Prior to dental school in 2008, she obtained a Bachelors degree from Michigan State University, and in addition completed a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan in 2010. Raised inAnnArbor, Michigan, Dr. Kapur, and herhusbandArun, relocated to Novi soArun could pursue his career as a Medical Doctor. Since graduation, Dr. Kapur has being working as an associate. She practices all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Kapur receives much gratification by interacting with her patientsin a compassionate manner. Dr. Kapur participates regularly in continuing education courses, in all areasof dentistry to maintain progressive skills in general dentistry. She is a member of the Michigan Dental Association andAmerican DentalAssociation. Currently, Dr. Kapur and her husband are busy parents of young twin boysAnish and Sahil. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, travelling, reading, and trying new recipes.

What used to take at least two weeks to create, we are able to deliver healthy and beautiful smiles in one hour.
Once treatment is complete and the restoration is attached, our dentist perfects its fit and appearance, ensuring it looks naturally beautiful. The ceramic materials are tooth-colored and resilient to dental issues. They will not accumulate stains as normal teeth do and merely require normal brushing and flossing.

Came in for a new patient consultation and so far, I'm very happy with my experience! All staff very personable and practicing meticulous hygiene. Dr. Caven is friendly, knowledgeable (she's also a professor at U of M), provided a comprehensive assessment and explained findings well. Great listener. Would recommend.

Phenomenal experience overall. Very friendly and welcoming from the point I stepped into the office till the very end when they finished scheduling my next two appointments. EXCELLENT! I had my teeth cleaned today, as well as a checkup as a new patient. I've been using a different dentist, and I have cleanings regularly. In one appointment my teeth are whiter, brighter and cleaner than they've been in YEARS! That's no exaggeration! I am SOOOOOOOOO Impressed with this place. The staff were friendly and fun and very helpful. Not to mention thorough. My experience there today was amazing, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Anchor Family Dentistry! You will be amazed! They're also NOT greedy. In my experience their prices are more than fair. Absolutely one of my best dentist experiences ever!

Great DDS's and dental assistants here. They can make essentially a perfect crown using this very advanced laser mapping technology. I sometimes forget which teeth have crowns because they look so natural. Best part is they can machine your crown the very same day- takes their machine about 45 min.

I've been coming to Anchor Family Dentistry for the past 4 years and I have never been so happy with an office before. The staff is amazing, you are always greeted with a smile and everyone is so personable, especially Megan the hygienist. She is so caring and never fails to treat me like family. This dentist office is the BEE's KNEES! I have anxiety going to the dentist for years, that being said I have never felt so calm or at ease in an office. I have had "that one tooth" issues for a while, and Anchor has had my back every step of the way. I just destroyed a crown, and when I called they were able to get me in within the HOUR. Not only that, when I came in the following morning, they sat me down and they MILLED AND SET THE CROWN IN ONE SITTING! No multiple appointments, no hassles, no stress. It was hands down the best Dentistry service I have ever experienced. I will and my family will continue to stay "Anchored" here. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a provider, or looking to upgrade, to start (and finish) your search here.

I had a bad tooth pain and anchor family dentistry was able to get me in as a new patient right away. Dr Nwagwu was very kind and made sure i was comfortable during my appointment. She is very effective and actually called me multiple times to check on me after my appointment. I have moved my whole family to Anchor dentistry after my awesome experience with this office. I recommend her services to anyone that needs a trustworthy , kind and professional dentist .
