Dr. Hong grew up in Diamond Bar, CA, and graduated from Diamond Bar High School. He earned his bachelors degree in biological sciences from the University of the Pacific and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Pacific, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hong takes over 100 hours of continuing education courses each year, so he can provide his patients with the latest techniques and is committed to delivering a dental experience full of compassion, integrity, and skill. He is a member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society.

My wife has been going to Dr. Hong for a number of years. She recommended him to me. I hadn't been to the dentist in 10 yrs. and was terrified of any potential damage accrued during that time. Dr. Hong was extremely friendly and professional. He explained everything in great detail and put you at ease. He was not judgmental like other dentists. He was straight to the point and offered effective solutions. His entire staff from the receptionist to Dental hygienists were extremely professional. Recently, Dr. Hong went above and beyond to accommodate my work schedule in order to treat me. In the span of a year he came in clutch two times, when I needed him the absolute most!

My family and I have been patients of Anaheim Hills Family Dental for over 20 years. I no longer live in the area but I still remain a patient and drive an hour and a half from the valley to see Dr. Hong, he's that good! Everyone who works here is super nice and professional. Unfortunately, I've had to have lots of work done on my teeth - multiple fillings, several crowns and even a root canal. While it's never fun to undergo such procedures, Dr Hong and the staff at Anaheim Hills Family Dental go out if their way to make the process as painless as possible. I have never had a bad or painful experience with Dr. Hong and I appreciate the time he takes to explain the process and show before and after pictures and X-rays. I highly recommend trusting your teeth to Dr Hong and the staff at Anaheim Hills Family Dental.

Best dentist office I've ever been to! I've always been so nervous about going to the dentist until I went here. The whole staff is so awesome! So kind, patient and caring. I always feel so comfortable when I'm here and everyone involved always pays very close attention to detail. The office is always so clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!

Anaheim Hills Family Dental is outstanding in every way possible! Dr. Hong does amazing dental work, and he is very professional. He listens to questions patients might have, and he wants to make sure the patient is satisfied with the work before the patient leaves. His dental office is extremely clean, and he uses tools that are modern and precise. I would recommend Dr. Hong to anyone needing an excellent dentist. As a patient, I don't consider myself to be the best with my teeth hygiene. Dr. Hong is so professional and classy that he doesn't make me feel bad about myself when I have a problem. He does let me know what I can do better and I really appreciate his advice! If there's anyone reading this review right now that might be scared or nervous about seeing a dentist because they don't have the most perfect smile, then Dr. Hong is the right dentist for you. He will help you get through your teeth problems however tough they may be!!! I wanted to add more to my review. I just recently had my upper front teeth crowned and also a new crown on the bottom put on. My upper teeth were not in the best shape after many years of dental work partly because I did not take care of them as well as I should have when I was a lot younger. Dr. Hong suggested that he believed it would be be wise for me to have 4 of my upper teeth crowned due to all the prior work. Over time, my teeth had so many fillings that the teeth were getting yellow around the fillings. I was hesitant, but I finally decided to take Dr. Hong's advice. The work that Dr. Hong did was absolutely magnificent!!! There are no words I can possibly say that will actually describe just how great the work truly is when seen in pictures from my teeth prior. My new crowns are so amazing!!! The teeth have no gaps, and my bite is perfect. Speechless is really a nice word to describe how I feel about my new teeth. Dr. Hong's is one terrific dentist and so very very caring. He does his absolute best to give the best care he can. I am so proud of my new teeth!!! Dr. Hong's staff is outstanding as well. Debbie, Nikki and Angela are very skilled, super professional and friendly!!! They answer questions in great detail and really care about all the patients. I always enjoy talking to them!!! I cannot say enough great things about Anaheim Hills Family Dental. Again Dr. Hong and all his staff are super and so very professional!!! Brandon.

While cleaning my teeth, the technician discovered that my implant was loose. I verified that she was correct. Dr Hong fixed the problem that same day. They are friendly and courteous. I'm very happy
