Dr. Ana Maria Antoniu, originally from Bucharest, Romania, is a general dentist with a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She received a DMD degree cum laude from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2004 and a Certificate from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2005 after completing a general practice residency.
Dr. Antoniu was on the faculty of Boston University where she worked as a Clinical Instructor of General Dentistry with pre-doctoral students. While in Boston, she also worked as a general dentist in the faculty practice at Boston University and in a small suburban private practice treating children and adults.
In 2008 Dr. Antoniu moved back to California and accepted a position as the Dental Director and practicing dentist with Winters Healthcare Foundation. She has served the community of Winters with passion and dedication since then.
Dr. Antonius philosophy of care is to treat each patient as a distinct individual taking into consideration their unique personality, specific dental needs and desired outcome. What she brings to her practice is a blend of evidence based science combined with a good old fashioned common sense. Dr. Antonius ultimate goal is to create healthy smiles with a gentle touch, with patients comfort as her main priority.
Dr. Antoniu is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and Sacramento Dental Society. She is fluent in Spanish, French and Romanian.
We are very excited to introduce our new full time associate dentist, Dr. Kinga Fiedorczuk. Dr. Kinga is originally from Poland and obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from Loyola University in Chicago, IL.
She attended the prestigious Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey where she received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Dr Antoniu and Dr Kinga share the same vision of treating each patient the same way they would treat their own family members.
Leanne was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She started her college career at the University of Washington where she studied business, but soon realized that she had a passion for the dental field. She moved to California to complete her dental hygiene education where she graduated from Diablo Valley College and has been a hygienist for almost 15 years. She moved to Winters in 2008 where she met Dr. Ana Maria Antoniu. They have been working together ever since.
She feels that its important to make each patient feel comfortable when they come to the dental office and to provide them with the best care possible. She enjoys teaching her patients how to care for their teeth and mouth in a calm and caring manner. She loves her patients, and especially loves working with kids.
Amanda is a lifelong resident of Winters and has been working as an RDA in town since 2002. She loves seeing longtime friends and family members in the office. She is a graduate of J P Productions Institute, a 9 months long program which will allows her to perform extended functions as a registered dental assistant.
She enjoys seeing and working on young patients along with the doctor. Her friendly demeanor makes children not only very comfortable during treatment but also want to stop by to say hello and give her hugs.
Andrea has lived in Winters for over thirteen years. She loves coming to work and seeing all the familiar faces. She likes spending her free time on her boat out on the lake with her family and friends.
