Growing up, I was always trying to create masterpieces using art and craft supplies. In high school, that love for art continued as I would stay up late painting to complete my latest art project. Sometimes, you could even catch me walking around the school with a paintbrush in my hair! I graduated with dreams to pursue my love for art and design. Little did I know that after having the opportunity to shadow a female dentist, my artistic career path would be merged with science.
After completing dental school at Ohio State, I was excited to return home. I returned not just with my dental degree, but also with my husband, Adam, who is a constant source of support and love. Together, we decided to move back to the beautiful hills of Southern Ohio. I could not imagine living anywhere else but where I was born and raised as this area will always have my heart and soul.
Dentistry is sometimes viewed as a task; a broken tooth that needs fixed. However, I view dentistry differently. Im a life-long learner and take ten times the required continuing education each year. This has profoundly influenced my philosophy of dentistry and has shaped the way I serve my patients. I believe wholeheartly that managing a patients dental wellness can not only improve their confidence but also improve their overall health. Im also committed to using my love for art to design naturally beautiful smiles.

At Dr. Heim's office, I am greeted with a big smile every time I visit. I have wonderful care and am treated with respect. I am very pleased that both the hygienist and Dr. Heim keep me informed of every action they take. Dr. Heim really listens to my concerns and talks about the appropriate treatment. The entire office staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend Dr. Heim and her staff every chance I get!

I have always had severe anxiety about going to the dentist. I was recently referred to Dr. Heim and I am beyond thankful for that referral. I have NEVER had such a pleasant dental experience. The office is beautiful, modern, and clean. The staff is efficient, bubbly, and KIND. Hope, the reception, is a breath of fresh air each and every time you come. She is so friendly and welcoming. Upon my first visit, they gave me a quick tour of the entire office. They really go above and beyond to ensure your comfort at all times. Before ever even examining my teeth, Dr Heim came in to introduce herself and get to know me as a person before a patient. She listened to and understood all of my dental fears and anxieties before we ever started, then reassured me through the entire process that there would be zero pain (and spoiler alert- there was never ANY pain, yay!). She talks you through the process as she works so you always know what to expect next. Their techniques are modern and up to date. Dr Heim also does this beautiful humming along to music that's playing in the office, and it's so calming! Dr. Amy Heim and her staff have completely changed my opinion of "going to the dentist". They are an exceptional team and I highly suggest them to you for any of your dental needs.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amy Heim's for a few years now, and I must say... SHE IS THE BEST! I had been with the same Amazing dentist my entire life, and when he retired, I had anxiety and reservations about changing. The entire staff goes above and beyond for their patients. It's also the cleanest medical practice in the country! Dr. Heim is comforting, courteous and you ALWAYS know what is going on. 10/10 experience for sure! I can't say enough positive and grateful things about her.

Dr. Heim and her entire staff are true professionals. They are all very welcoming and are definitely very knowledgeable. Dr. Heim has fixed many of my dental issues caused by another dentist (who has since left town). I am more than thrilled with the care and quality of work I have experienced with Dr. Heim!

Dr. Amy Heim was phenomenal! This was my first dentist appointment as a new patient and I love the practice and everyone that works there. From the moment you walk in, they are very warm and welcoming. Misty, the dentist assistant was super friendly and did an amazing job explaining every step in the process. Once Dr. Heim saw me, she was very thorough with the assessment and made some excellent recommendations. I would 100% recommend Dr. Heims and her practice.

The staff here are amazing! I love that they work with the parents to make the experience easy and efficient. I am able to get my teeth cleaned and they clean my children's teeth at the same time. The children LOVE going to the dentist because the staff is so friendly.
