Dr. Amy Gearin is a Utah native. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky in 2005. Upon graduating from dental school, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to work as an associate in an established private dental practice. After several years there, Dr. Gearin decided to make the move to open her own practice. She is committed to furthering her education in dentistry, and she constantly exceeds the minimum numbers of continuing education hours required every year. Dr Gearin has received additional training in cosmetic dentistry, occlusion, dental implants, full-arch dental reconstruction, snoring and sleep apnea treatment, TMJ disorder treatment and more. Her greatest goal is to help patients achieve healthy, disease-free smiles that they are happy with. Dr. Gearin works to promote whole health awareness and that relationship to oral health.
Dr. Gearins husband, Grayson, was born and raised here in Las Vegas. He is a high school PE/Health and CrossFit coach. They have 2 young kids, a son and daughter, that keep them busy! Dr. Gearin is also a nutrition coach for Stayfitmom.com. Dr. Gearin enjoys time with her family, being active in the outdoors and CrossFit.
Kyoko | Dental Hygienist Kyoko has been a dental hygienist with the practice for over 5 years. She loves collaborating with the rest of our team and is passionate about serving patient with top quality dental hygiene and contributing to their dental health. Kyoko became a dental hygienist in 2013 and continued studying for her bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene and Public Health at the College of Southern Nevada. In her spare time, Kyoko loves outdoor activities with her husband and friends. She is an avid and competitive trail runner and enjoys mountain biking and hiking the many local trails Las Vegas has to offer at Red Rock, Mount Charleston and Lake Mead.
Jillian | Dental Hygienist Jillian joined our office in February 2019 and instantly knew shed found the BEST dental team in town. She loves the positive work environment, and that her co-workers feel like friends she has had for life. Family means everything to Jillian, so she appreciates that we treat all of our patients like family. She enjoys working where she knows her patients receive the highest standard of care and get treatment based on their individual needs. Jillians favorite way to spend her free time is hanging out with her husband, Corey, and her sons, Dash and Ender. She loves to travel and is obsessed with all things Disney.
Patty | Dental Hygienist Patty has been practicing dental hygiene for over 25 years and has been a clinical instructor at College of Southern Nevada. She has filled in for various maternity leaves and sabbaticals for other hygienists for Dr. Gearin over the last 9 years. Patty has a wonderful personality and loves to converse with patients. She has become like the team Aunt over the years. Patty is an EXCELLENT golfer and loves to spend time with her friends and dogs.
Melissa | Treatment Coordinator/Financial Coordinator Since 2019, Melissa is honored to worth with the best dentist you will find in Las Vegas and a group of amazing co-workers who all have so much compassion for their patients. They truly feel like family! Helping others through having a great smile and good oral hygiene has been a passion for Melissa for the past 18 years. Melissa has been a dental assistant and held many other positions in the front office of dental practices. Outside of work, she loves spending time and travelling with her fiance, Mike, and their two kids. Melissa also enjoys the beach, gym, hiking, and having a glass of wine with good friends.
Amanda | Patient Care Coordinator/Insurance Manager Amanda has been working in the dental field since 2007 and ahs been with Dr. Gearin since 2018. In 2007, she graduated with a dental assisting degree and has held various positions in dental since then. She is currently working on finishing her bachelors degree. Her long-standing history in the dental field, business experience, as well as her education helps us provide knowledge in every aspect of the dental office. She loves catering to our patients and makes sure they have the best dental experience you can find in the Las Vegas area. She likes to keep the office atmosphere light and enjoyable whole working closely with our team and patients to provide unsurpassed quality of care. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors and adventurous. On the calmer side of life, she enjoys reading, gardening and catching up with family and friends.
Ashley | Dental Assistant Ashley has been with Dr. Gearin since 2010. She loves learning from Dr. Gearin and is grateful for the office the camaraderie the office shares. Ashley strives to make all her patients feel comfortable and at ease. She enjoys spending time doing fun things around Las Vegas with her husband and 2 daughters.
Carrie | Dental Assistant Carrie has been working with Dr. Gearin and the team since 2015. She is an amazing assistant and keeps the office organized and running her ability to problem solve! She is the office practical joker and has an infectious laugh. She has a total of 23 years experience in the dental field in both front and back office positions. She loves to spend time with her family, husband Jonathon and her 2 kids.
Brieanna | Dental Assistant Brie started working with Dr. Gearin in September of 2020 as a dental assistant. She loves working with the team and has felt welcomed since day one. She and her fianc, have a 3 year old fur baby, Teddy that is their whole world! She was working on completing my associate degree in psychology but will soon be changing gears to work toward a Dental Hygiene degree! She has grown to love the field and wants to continue to advance her career in dentistry for the future.
