Dr. Marc Amsili founded his first dental practice in Austin, Texas in 1992 after completing his education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and a general practice residency at UTHSC in Houston, based at Herman Hospital and treating patients at surrounding hospitals including Ben Taub, the institute of Rehabilitation and Research, Methodist Hospital, M.D. Anderson, and L.B.J Hospital. By 1998, the practice had evolved to its present three-clinic group known as Omni Dental Group. While attending the University of Texas Health Science Center he donated his time and expertise to provide surgery and dental services to impoverished Mexican citizens. Later, he performed an externship in Colorado to assist the Colorado Migrant Workers Association and their families.
