Dr. Radwan has been a practicing dentist since 2006. After graduating dental school in Egypt, he enrolled in a one- year general dentistry internship, where he also joined the faculty practice. He finished a two-year residency program in Endodontics at Cairo University School of Dentistry. Then he came to the United States for a fellowship in Endodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry in Texas. A year later, he was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He then completed a two-year post- graduate program at Columbia University in New York, where he received a certificate in Endodontics.Dr. Radwan attained the highest honor in Endodontics when he became a board certified member of the American Association of Endodontics. He is an adjunct faculty in the Department of Endodontics at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He participated in research projects, which were published in the Journal of Endodontics and the Open Journal of Clinical & Medical Case Reports. Along with Dr. Mattos, he co-authored a chapter in an Endodontic textbook (Clinical Cases in Endodontics). He assisted in research on the subject of Rapid Root Extrusion for Chapter 19--Preparation for Treatment--in Ingle 's Endodontics, 7th edition.' He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the College of Diplomates, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Florida District Dental Association.During his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, working out and spending quality time with his wife and family.

Dr. Katia Mattos was born in Cuba and immigrated to Miami as a child. After graduating at the top 1% percent of her class, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend Florida International University. Dr. Mattos completed a Bachelor of Science with honors in biology. Upon graduation, she was accepted to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and graduated with honors in endodontics. During her time at Harvard, she was also awarded the James N. Snitzler Scholarship for Academic distinction. She had the opportunity to participate in research, which was published in the Journal of the American Dental Association.

After Boston, Dr. Mattos moved to New York to attend the postgraduate endodontics program at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She also worked as an associate clinical instructor and mentored predoctoral students in endodontics during her time there.

Dr. Mattos joined a select group of endodontists when she attained the highest honor in the profession, becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists. Along with Dr. Radwan, Dr. Mattos also co-authored a chapter in an Endodontic textbook (Clinical Cases in Endodontics). She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the College of Diplomates, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the South Florida District Dental Association.

Dr. Mattos is excited to be back in South Florida close to her family and friends. In her spare time, Dr. Mattos enjoys traveling, listening to music, working out, watching Friends reruns, and spending time with her husband and family.
