Fairfield Endodontist Dr. Brian Amoroso is a graduate of Fairfield University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at Danbury Hospital. Dr. Amoroso has practiced general dentistry in the towns of Greenwich and Stratford, and has served as Assistant Attending Dentist at Danbury Hospital. He has been in private practice limited to Endodontics since completing his specialty training at the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine in 1997.
Dr. Amoroso is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, Bridgeport Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, and the Connecticut Association of Endodontists. He serves on the Connecticut State Dental Association Governance Review Committee and Ethics Council. He has been a long standing Delegate to the Connecticut State Dental Association House of Delegates. He is a Past President of both the Bridgeport Dental Association and the Connecticut Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Amoroso is the 2013 recipient of the Bridgeport Dental Association Dentist of the Year award. The Dentist of the Year award has been presented by the Bridgeport Dental Association since 1978. Candidates must be members of the local, state or national associations, and have made significant contributions of time and effort to the dental association, or have made outstanding contributions to the profession that reflect positively on the profession as a whole.
He is a Fellow of the Pierre Fuchard Academy and International Honor Organization. His recognitions have included Top Dentist Awards in Connecticut Magazine, Westport, Weston and Wilton Magazine and Fairfield Living Magazine. The recognitions have been awarded based on peer review with attention given to years of experience, professional background, continuing education, patient manner and the use of innovative technologies. Dr. Amoroso is privileged to have received the nomination in each magazine for every year each magazine has compiled the list.

Needed my first root canal and Dr. Amoroso was recommended by my dentist. Dr. Amoroso was very thorough; he explained everything he was doing and it was a very painless procedure. His office is conveniently located off of Black Rock Turnpike and is very clean and inviting.

Dr. Amoroso and staff were completely professional and efficient , was made comfortable immediately and had me on my way in under an hour. Would highly recommend.

This place was so sweet. I recently got a root canal and Dr.Amoroso was so reassuring that everything would be ok and the nurse was very mindful and gave me a blanket and held my hand through out the numbing shots. They let me do what i needed to do to be comfortable which was put in airpods and listen to music and they started small talk to make me feel welcome. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a root canal for younger children or people who are nervous/unsure about one.

This was the first time I'd been to an endodontist I didn't know what to expect. Dr. Amaroso introduced himself and explained exactly what he was going to do. He imidiately put me at ease. He's very professional and has a wonderful bedside manner. He laid out a plan of treatment for me and made sure that I understood. His staff is warm and friendly. You won't have to be concerned about him. He's rated one of the best. Very through and concerned about his patients.

Recently had a root canal done here & am very pleased with the results so far. Very good endodontist & very nice office staff. Was referred by Dr. Rebecca Sonick of Light House Dental & am very grateful for the great recommendation. Also want to add that it didn't look very likely that my tooth could be saved, which would have been a tremendous loss since the tooth that needed the root canal was holding a very expensive bridge that I only have had for about a year & yet Dr. Amoroso really went out of his way to save my tooth, which allowed me to protect my investment & did a terrific job. I am so very grateful to him & his hardworking staff. I highly recommend this group if anyone out there needs a root canal.

Dr Amoroso got me in for an emergency root canal in less than 24 hours. The actual root canal was painless and comfortable. In addition I trusted him immediately and that's a big deal for never meeting a doctor before. I would definitely recommend Dr Amoroso!!

I'm rating on just 1 office visit I had. I was in pain and the staff got me in and was very friendly and caring, the senior nurse even sounded more like an aunt giving advice. But what was So Very nice was when Dr. Amoroso came from the back, talked in waiting room with me, put me at ease and then took me in for an exam and was very gentle. He took care of what he could to help me with my pain, and offered good advice, even gave a card incase I needed help picking out someone who was in network. Because of insurance reasons I wasn't able to have my work done there. But, from someone who from childhood has had some of the worst experiences and has a very hard time going to the dentist, this was the best and nicest office I've Ever gone to. And I'm sure if l had any work done there, the care, concern and friendliness and family like atmosphere would be the same throughout.

I am very happy to say that my first experience visiting DR. Brian Amoroso ,referral from DR. Michael Nocerino was very ,very pleasant . NO REGRETS! I went in nervous, scared and frightened at some point felt a little confused , not knowing what to expect . I think that they senses that :) As Sheri Beth said with a smile " you are geared up for the worst " yes , I was. Before I could think twice it was all over , no pain, no doubt. Before I leave the office I felt at easy , comfortable and thankful. Thanks to DR. Amoroso for his kind and gentle care towards me . and HO , Sheri Beth and Maria are so delightful , patient and understanding of my fears !.. DR. Nocerino choose the best Endodontics for my care . Words are not enough to express my appreciation for these two wonderful health care providers . I shall call my wonderful dentist . This is the perfect example of how our health care providers should be . My second and first visits left a lasting impression of gratitude and satisfaction . Happy day !!! Sincerely Constance
