I really cannot say enough. This office is great. They really do care about you. Yes, it does cost but they work with you and fight insurance as well. I would do the whole thing all over again. Dr. Ammons and team are the BEST.

I've been a patient of Ammon's dental for 5 years. From the Personnel at the reception desk through the whole office you are made to feel welcome. From my first visit 5 years ago when I moved to South Carolina through every 3 months cleaning to a recent emergency. They did their best and got me in as soon as possible. Friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Never had a problem with any work they've done. Got the best music in town. And John the singing hygienist. Today Dr Ammons and Cheri worked diligently to repair and crown a tooth. They were the first dental office I went to since moving to South Carolina and will be my last. Thanks to the whole office even those who names weren't mentioned. Keep up the great work. Thank you Donna

EXTREMELY disappointed!! (I have to leave out many details due to length but I truly just don't want this to happen to anyone. Although I have a contract, it means nothing if the person/entity isn't willing to keep their word. My daughter chose Dr Ammons based 1st on reviews then on the guarantee that her Momma (me)wouldn't have to worry about a poorly fitting upper denture. I've been battling a terminal illness and my daughter wanted to help me, she set up my appointments, flew from N.M. I payed the $5000.00 for extractions and dentures with a guarantee if they couldn't get it right they would be sent back to the lab or replaced if they couldn't repair. Sept. '22 will be 2 yrs into my 5yr contract. I lost track of how many adjustments but never have fit and at last appointment was told I can't use the front teeth or chew on my right side, causing them to fall out even using a denture adhesive pad. The palate was extended and I was told it would need to be "adjusted " in a couple weeks, no charge. (Feb'22) (After several previous errors changing/cutting the teeth.) I received a bill over $400. Countless calls, promises someone would call and didn't. Request's to speak with Dr Ammons with no return call, and billed for 3 months, resulted in his receptionist saying I don't owe anything but have to pay for future services and although I'm not happy, I can pay full price for a new denture. I was told he didn't write notes at the Feb appt thus the extended palate remains. and he didn't remember. I have an appointment today with another dentist who said the denture I have can't be repaired so I'm having a new denture made that will allow me to eat, fit and not be as obvious I have a denture. I'm hopeful. I will be adding photos of both dentures and myself wearing each in 3-4 weeks when I get the new one. Sometimes you DONT get what you pay for. I do forgive, for me, it would be heartbreaking and potentially devastating for several reasons for someone else to go through this. It has been for me. I've waited, giving them the benefit of the doubt and also the hope it would be made right. As of today 8-2-22, I haven't been contacted by Dr Ammons. Waiting since 2-22. Thanks for reading. Hope it helps you make a good choice. **After seeing 2 dentists to repair the denture, Having the denture repaired to fit is not an option. I was told it has been altered a lot and asked if it was made for me saying there's no way it was made to fit me. Next week impressions then pic's. I've been reassured I will love the fit and look of the new denture and will be able to eat normally again.

I do not understand a 5.0 rating on Google. This is the dirtiest, most unresponsive and unprofessional dental office. I feel They are all about selling you services and not at all about caring about your situation. Don't bother leaving a messag as no one will call you back. I got fooled by a Google review system that is obviously flawed. No way 5.0 is even close to accurate at this location. Still awaiting a call back from a week ago. I mean really? At least they were cleaner than on my previous visit. I'm done with this practice.

I have never had a good experience at the dentist so when I went here I was absolutely amazed how I was treated like family with care and concern and loving kindness so many dentist lack this very much especially when you aren't rich or made of money. This will definitely Remain my dental office I % recommend this place even though it's 2 hrs from me I still will continue to use them for my dental needs. Thank you to all the staff yall really made me feel comfortable and taken care of.

I have been going to Ammons Dental for several years. I started going because I needed to be sedated for a major procedure. I've had some terrible experiences in the past. I had really bad anxiety at the dentist. They made me feel at ease, safe and comfortable. I've had some fillings and root canals done and I no longer need to be put under just some nitrous and I'm good. I continue to go there for my cleanings. John the singing hygienist is amazing. He even gives shots that are pain free. No lie, absolutely pain free. Dr. Clancy and Dr Ammons are awesome and all the ladies there are super sweet. I won't go anywhere else.

(Note-last name on account is Warren). Had a really good experience with this practice. The care and concern from all staff I encountered was exceptional. As a patient who is typically terrified of dental procedures, I was impressed with the respect they showed and the options offered. Shout out to Jacqueline (I hope that's right), who assisted the doctor - she was kind and made sure I was comfortable. The doctor was great - I felt no pain! And the girls up front - very helpful through the process. All in all I definitely give them 5 stars.

I am so unbelievably thankful to be seen today! I had a bad toothache this weekend and could not wait to be seen. I am grateful that I was able to be taken care of by such a caring Dentist and assistant. They made sure I was comfortable and that my needs were met. I am so thankful to be out of pain! I even had my tooth extracted and an implant placed the same day! Best dentist and office!

Lets just say I was terrified, in pain, and confused. Went to see a dentist Monday that told me my issue was not wear my pain was but somewhere else. Usually I tend to believe people because they are supposed to be the specialist right. Well I thank God for giving me that feeling that something wasn't right and I needed a second opinion. I am just going to say that the man upstairs led me to finding Ammons Dental online. I thought that I had been fighting a sinus infection. 2nd round of antibiotics, and the second round being prescribed by the dentist I saw on Monday. When I arrived at Ammons Dentis, the staff were very warm, caring and welcoming. When the Dr. came in Dr.Ammons he had a very warm and gentle and understading demeanor, he let me know that in fact where my pain was, not only was correct but it was an abcess, it had gotten so bad that it was going into the roof of my mouth. He knew, and he explained to me the treatment plan, which way we could go if things didn't work out one way. But thats not all, so the other gentleman RDH. Knarr, he was a trip as well, he did an excellent job at not only commumicating with me, but this RDH managed to get me out of my own head by distracting me busting my abcess on the outside of my gums while at the same time managing to shoot me up with some numbing medicine. I was completely amazed. I have never met not just one but 1 MD , and one RDH with wonderful bedside manner traits, but awesome vibes and happy to be doing what they are doing. It was very apparent they are not just in it for the money, they both actually care, and are excellent at what they do. DR. Ammons and RDH. Knarr Rock! There staff Rock! Great place with amazing people.

Really liked my first few visits, office is clean.. staff are all pleasant. However I had an emergency arise and needed to reschedule my appointment and I think it's crazy they're charging $55 to reschedule.. seeing as how I also work in the medical field I understand the annoyance of patients who R/S often or don't show.. but for those patients who cannot come in for legit reasons and its not an often occurrence of rescheduling should be waived.. when asked why I was having to R/S (which is really none of your business) I informed the receptionist it was due to my sitter not being available anymore.. she told me basically to bring my child with me & how they're kid-friendly. Which is all great but I'm not bringing my toddler to the dentist office knowing I'll be there for 1+ hours.. ugh. Super disappointing. If not for the credit on my account with this facility I'd probably be in search for a new dentist to finish my dental plan because that really rubbed me the wrong way. Thought I finally found a decent dentist that's not like everyone else.. oh well.

Went in for a consultation for the All-on-Four procedure. Staff was nice and comforting. Meet with Dr Ammons and he was very thorough in explaining in depth the details of the procedure and the process. I was impressed and really hope to be able to have this done with Dr. Ammons and regain my confidence back with a new smile!

I was going to spend a LOT of money on dental services here. I really really liked and felt comfortable with Dr Ammons! Until... One of the office staff mocked me for asking pricing questions. I had mentioned that I was not all that concerned about price as I wanted things done well and right and safely. Well I got my treatment plan worked up and I was still all for it - but they then said I HAD to do it all at once - with $12,000.00 paid up front. While I was NOT afraid or unable to spend that much OVER TIME, I did not see it possible to just plunk down that amount, all at once, before I could get ANYTHING done. I had an abscess AND a broken tooth. I was hoping we could deal with those two most urgent issues first then work through the rest of the extensive work needed. She said nope - all or nothing. I said well I just kinda CAN'T do that all at present. She laughed at me and said, extremely sarcastically, "Really! I thought you said cost was no object?!" I left, very embarrassed and almost in tears, feeling like some memory inadequate welfare case. Needless to say, I was unable to bring myself to call them back to discuss any of it.
