Below is our New Patient Package that you will need to complete on your first visit. You can expedite matters by downloading the package, completing it at home and handing it to our staff when you arrive for your initial visit to our office.
Your first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all we offer as well as introduce you to our caring staff. On your first visit, we will review your medical and dental histories and evaluate your oral health. We will take digital x-rays of your teeth and explain to you whether or not you will require any dental treatment.
Sedation dentistry offers individuals with general anxiety about going to the dentist or fears about a specific dental procedure the opportunity to have a stress free and more comfortable experience. Utilizing safe and controlled sedation techniques prior to the dental procedure the patient is eased into a state of complete relaxation. This eliminates any discomfort, pain, and preoperative anxiety that may be associated with a particular dental visit. With sedation dentistry patients typically feel more at ease post-operatively as they have little or no memory of the actual moment-to-moment dental procedure.
Commonly referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is used as a mild sedative to reduce anxiety and allow a level of relaxation during a procedure. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask over the nose. It is administered for the duration of the procedure and is turned off as the procedure is coming to an end. The effects of this method of sedation wear off very quickly.

Dr. Maryam Amidi grew up in Los Gatos and graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in chemistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Dr. Amidi has completed numerous continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry and has completed a mini-residency in oral surgery.

Dr. amidi Great family dentist. She's always super patient and thorough during every visit. No BS, will always tell you what's needed and doesn't push any uncessary service upsells. Friendly staff, easy to work with, always flexible with appt changes.

I have been going to Dr. Amidi's office for over a decade and originally found her through top reviews on Yelp when moving into the area. I have since moved further away but continue to go because her office is simply the best. Dr. Amidi is a top notch dentist, well connected with other stellar specialists should you need them, has multiple wonderful hygienists (I personally use and recommend Karen highly), a friendly and well organized staff, convenient office location, nice decor, and high level of Covid risk mitigation procedures and equipment (on top of already following industry best practices for sterile exam spaces) to keep you safe. This is one of the cleanest safest offices you will ever see! Dr. Amidi and team are up to date on the latest technologies, procedures, materials. For example if you want unflavored cleaning paste, or topical numbing before a procedure to make it more comfortable, they're always ready. Expert treatment plans and advice, never anything unnecessary, but honest conversations guided by your medical needs. Having care like this puts the patient at ease -- I can't wait for my next cleaning and exam! She also does great cosmetic work if you need bonding, crowns, bridges (family needed some of these services), and works with an amazing lab hand in hand. I can't say enough good about Dr. Amidi and her office -- she has treated all of our immediate family members and parents, including handling emergency situations with grace. I would give 10 but im only allowed to give 5 . Just visited Amidi for a checkup and cleaning after a very long time for not going to a dentist. Aida was taking care of me and did an excellent job Also the 1st dentist to explain how flossing works and what I should be looking for resulting to me taking better care of my teeth as well. I would highly recommend to anyone Anastasis = Staz

Beware! She will screw up simple fillings and cause you to be in pain for months! I went for a routine dental cleaning, and Dr. Amidi told me I needed to get some fillings. Before this, my teeth had no pain, nothing. But after I got my fillings done, I was in terrible pain for several weeks. I don't think anyone should go to her.

Dr. Maryam Amidi is such a wonderful, caring, and highly educated dentist. I've been going to Dr Amidi's office for a while now and it is a really great place. I always feel so welcomed and everyone from the dentist to the staff are very friendly and care so deeply about each and every one of her patients. Today during my visit, Nooshin was seeing me and she was absolutely fantastic-she was so clear and comforted me throughout my entire appointment. Amidi Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is also located very conveniently off of El Camino in a shopping center with lots of parking! I would recommend Dr. Amidi to all of my friends and family, absolutely wonderful office!

Amidi is a horrible dentist can't even do a regular filling. Also please be careful with her billing department. She send me a bill after 2 years couldn't believe it. I left this place for good and never ever coming back. I wouldn't even take my dog to her. I hate somebody calls me honey sweetie and cutie. I am grown up women why would you even call me that.

Dr. Amidi is just the sweetest person ever! She genuinely cares for all her patients and will make sure they're satisfied with the work she does. I don't think it gets any better than this! She's also very efficient with her work and gets you in an out asap!
