Dr. Bernard Ang has committed his life to helping people achieve excellent oral health and beautiful smiles. Graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, Dr. Ang went on to complete his General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.
His dedication and commitment to his patients achieving optimum oral health led him to do further studies in Implant Placement Surgery at the London Institute. Dr. Ang also participated in ongoing studies at the Center for Advanced Biologic Occlusion, Orthodontics, and Dento-Facial Orthopedics.
With Bioesthetic Dentistry, the entire chewing system is examined as well as problems in the bite, the TMJ, or the muscles that are corrected prior to any dental work. The result is comprehensive dental work that is permanent, secure, and wont cause any future problems.
Cassandra has been practicing dental hygiene with us here at Amherst Village Dental since 2013. She is a 2011 graduate from the New Hampshire Technical Institute with her dental hygiene degree. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know our patients while helping them achieve a strong and healthy smile. Cassandra attends yearly continuing education courses to be able to properly inform our patients on how they can improve and maintain their overall oral health. She also provides them with instructions on how to uphold a proper at home oral hygiene routine. Her passion for the dental field stems from her own experience watching her childhood hygienist, and her many years spent working for a local dental lab. She enjoys making our patients smiles sparkle! Cassandra looks forward to quality time with her husband, 2 boys, and the warm company of friends and family.
Melissa is a dedicated member of our community and volunteers as both a Firefighter and an EMT in the Monadnock region. We are lucky to have her as part of our team as a certified dental assistant with over 22 years of experience. At our practice she works closely alongside Dr. Ang, assisting him with all our full mouth restorations, implant cases, and all other dental procedures. She thoroughly enjoys when she gets the opportunity to educate patients about their dental treatment options and takes great pride in helping to hold their hand through every step of their own dental journey. Melissa is an outstanding mother to 3 amazing boys and enjoys spending her free time with friends and family!
Currently a junior in high school, Alexis enjoys helping in the office when her schedule allows. She assists with our sterilization process to help with the practices overall efficiency and productivity. She takes great pride in being part of the Amherst Village Dental Family and in helping the team give our patients the best possible experience. Her hobbies include horseback riding and playing the guitar. She is an amazing student and avid reader with her favorite genres being mystery and adventure. She loves living in New Hampshire and all it has to offer!
