We offer general and cosmetic dentistry for adults and children through a personal approach focused on you as our patient. We perform standard dentistry procedures including dental exams, dental cleanings, composite (white) fillings, full and partial dentures, porcelain or metal crowns, bridges, and dental implants. We diagnosis and perform root canal therapy.
Dr. Rashmi Shankar, D.D.S. has been in dental practice for 10 years, having graduated from USC Dental School in 2004. Dr. Shankar grew up in the high desert and enjoys serving members of her local community in her dental practice.
Dr. Shankar 's motto is to 'Provide patients with a pleasant dental experience'. She inspires patient confidence and trust through her patient-centered approach to dental care, and excellent dentistry skills.
Dr. Shankar has the training and expertise to help you improve and maintain good oral health, and provide you with the best possible dental treatment options including preventative and comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Shankar believes in educating her patients to help them make better informed decisions about his or her own dental health. She has written numerous articles on various oral and dental health topics as part of her focus on dental health education for patients.

First time at the dental office and please to say it was such a clean environment with a great staff. Dentist Shankar is super friendly and was very gentle while working on my teeth. Can't wait for my next visit, already have it set up with the nice front receptionist Michelle.

I was happy to read the reviews for Amethyst Dental but have not been able to reach anyone in over a week. I left a message once and have not heard back from them. Every day since then when I call it gives an automatic busy signal...all day....each day. So, because the reviews were so good I decided to drive to their location thinking maybe there was a problem with their phones. Their webpage showed they were open and so I arrived there during business hours but....the door was locked. There was not a soul around. I gave up after two trips to this office. I am not sure if they are even in business or even still at this location as no one is ever around.

AFTER GOING TO A FEW DENTISTS THAT ARE MORE INTERESTED IN SELLING STUFF THAN DENTAL CARE, IT IS REFRESHING TO SEE A DENTIST THAT CARES AND IS GREAT WITH KIDS. MY SON ACTUALLY ASKED WHEN DOES HE GET TO BACK FOR THE SECOND FILLING? SHE TAKES HER TIME AND TRULY CARES. NO BILLING ISSUES EITHER!

Dr. Shankar is a caring and very capable dentist. I am always seen in time, the place is squeaky clean and the staff are friendly. Dr. Shankar has only recommended the care I need and saw me immediately when I had a dental emergency.

By far the best dental office in the HD. I love the fact that my time is "my time", Dr. Shankar is never rushing to the next patient and they are always willing to work with my schedule. When an 11 year old is excited for the dentist you know you're in the right place.
