Dr. Pea is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist who has extensive experience in the dental care of children, adolescents and special needs patients. He received a dual-degree, Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.), from Nova Southeastern University and graduated with top honors. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he received a Certificate of Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry and a Masters degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.
Dr. Pea is also the recipient of the honorary Eric B. Bystrom, D.D.S. Memorial Pediatric Dentistry Award for Excellence in the Treatment of Special Needs Patients. His research on the treatment and management of special needs patients has been published in nationally recognized dental journals. He is also trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and holds a sedation permit for the administration of oral medicine for patients. Dr. Pea is currently a clinical professor at Nova Southeastern University Department of Pediatric Dentistry and has professional affiliations with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
On a personal note, Dr. Pea and his wife are the proud parents of three beautiful children, Adrian, Leia and Annabelle. He has been a South Florida native for the past 30 years and is actively involved in giving back to the community, both at home and abroad. He has participated in community events such as Give Kids a Smile for the past five years and has attended medical missions to Jamaica and Guatemala. Dr. Peas personal philosophy is that every child should receive dental care in a warm, compassionate manner, and our office is geared toward fulfilling this goal.
Dr. Will Liou is a Board-Certified pediatric dentist who strives to provide the best possible experience for his patients. He believes that the enjoyable visits the children have will facilitate a positive attitude toward seeing the dentist and also motivate them to improve their oral hygiene at home. Dr. Liou is a native of Florida, born in Gainesville where he later moved to Orlando. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and later returned to his birthplace to receive his dental degree (D.M.D.) at the University of Florida. He realized that his passion was working with children and completed a three-year pediatric dental program at the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Liou received a certificate of Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry and a Masters degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at UCSF. During his three years at UCSF, he received extensive training in hospital dentistry, oral conscious sedation, and working with special needs patients. Dr. Liou currently practices out of our Coral Springs and Pembroke Pines locations.
In his time during dental school and residency, he participated in mission trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, Special Olympics, and Give Kids a Smile. He is a big believer in community service and helping the underserved. He hopes to organize a trip one day back to Taiwan (his nationality) to provide dental services to the children there. He is PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified and is also affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Yamila Garber was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and grew up in South Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Florida (GO GATORS!) where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to complete a Masters in Biomedical Science at Barry University. Dr. Garber earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After Dental School, she completed her pediatric dental residency at NYU Langone Hospital in Tampa, FL.
Dr. Garber is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), and Florida Dental Association. Dr. Garber enjoys having one of the best jobs in the world and considers herself an advocate for childrens oral health. Her practice philosophy includes taking the extra time to get to know each and every one of her patients and making each experience a fun and positive one.
In her free time she enjoys staying active by dancing tango, spending time with her family, and traveling with her husband. Dr. Garber is excited to return to South Florida where she plans on making a positive impact in her community and in the field of dentistry. Dr. Garber truly believes she has the best job in the world!

Called today to obtain info for a possible upcoming appt. Provided detailed info regarding what needed to be done as my son was at the dentist today. I was given a price range from 500-3k. I provided insurance info and asked the girl on the phone to verify benefits so I have a better idea of the upcoming cost. She told me no they don't do that until two days prior to the appt. Umm ok no problem she then proceeds to tell me he would have to have x rays done. I told her X-rays we're done today why can't they be transferred over? Why would I be charged for that again if they were already done? She then proceeds to tell me they have to do their own X-rays - yeah that's gonna be a no for me. Sure let's not only charge them again but make a child do that again for fun. Very unprofessional and disappointed.

I seriously cannot sing their praises high enough. For someone who has SEVERE anxiety, they were so accommodating and empathetic to not only the kids, but the parents! Everyone I spoke to was warm and comforting (shoutout to Renee at the front desk who not only talked me down when I was crying on the phone trying to schedule the appointment, but also offered to give me a hug when I started crying going over the treatment plan!!). Dr. Liou was absolutely phenomenal as was Ms. Maria (who had to help us with getting my daughter to take her meds), and Ms. Eve who was very nurturing and comforting to this overly anxious mommy. Something that was so terrifying to me that I lost sleep over was definitely not worth the lost sleep. They literally took care of my daughter as if she was their own-every single one of them. So incredibly thankful and can't thank them enough!

Dr. Lisa Moleon (Pembroke Pines location) is without a doubt the best pediatric anesthesiologist. Your kids are in good hands when they receive treatment at American Pediatric Sedation Center.

I had my daughters teeth done here in March and the caps are falling out!! she had some front caps done she's been complaining about pain in her teeth ever since and here it is July and her front teeth are loose do not go here they won't even answer your call I will take this review down when they call me back and fix this

The staff was really nice ever single one of them did and awesome job and took care of my son. The service was excellent. They do need to get someone separate to answer the phone but i understood the business of that office.

APSC was honestly sent from GOD! Our experience from the beginning to the time we left was outstanding. Everyone made us feel welcome and safe. My son isn't a peoples person; he's really shy, but it was something about the staff that made him feel comfortable! He did everything they asked and he didn't cry and his teeth... OMG HIS TEETH LOOKS SOOOOOO GOOD I'm so thankful for everyone their and I wish them and the organization nothing but blessings, happiness, peace and prosperity!

I was very nervous about 4 year old having to be sedated for dental work but the staff made me feel so relaxed about it from the first time I talked to Pierre on the phone. Every time I called they were willing to help me and I didn't have to wait on hold forever. I was able to make an appointment in a reasonable time frame. The staff answered all my questions and explained everything that would happen. The doctor who did my sons work, Mr. Liou, was so friendly and helped to make the experience as pleasant as it could be. The anesthesiologist is beyond nice. Everyone I interacted with was great. I am very pleased with my experience. Updated 6/2022 - Although I did love my experience at this location and the staff was amazing I have since had to do dental work on my both my boys. They were also sedated and the cost was at no cost to me vs my first experience with American Pediatric which was over $2,000 out of pocket. We are still with the same company for insurance so I don't know why the most recent sedation visits have been no cost but this first one was so expensive. Like I said I loved my experience but wish I would have researched other locations based on cost.

It's sad a place with such horrible service exists. I feel like some of these positive reviews are not realistic reviews. First off, I have been trying to schedule an appointment for over a month. They do not answer the phone at all. They want you to send text messages but who wants to have a 30min text conversation when you can have a 2minute phone call. The location refuses to schedule a solid appointment date and only offers tentative appointments as if kids don't have school and parents don't go to work. I have the tentative appointment which isn't set in stone it's penciled in so I don't really know if I have the date. Then while I'm working (without my phone) I receive a confirmation text that I need to respond within 2 hours or my appointment will be canceled. The appointment I had just scheduled several days prior after making so many attempts for over a month to schedule. My appointment gets canceled and was unable to be rescheduled. When I call the location they say they already booked a new appointment in my place and to reschedule a new appointment. I call to schedule another appointment with no answer. I drive to the location so I can speak in person to finally get clear communication and see the employees sitting behind the counter like people aren't trying to get a service. These moments made me lose trust in the business. This I why businesses are failing because they fail to provide good customer interactions and services although people are willing to pay top dollar. Your reducing your own value. I suggest if you can't receive good service to find a place you will.

Very professional. Easliy guided us through the treatment plan after they reviewed my son was checked in. Removed many cavities and did the anesthesia under 1 :00 if not sooner. They were very friendly and the Dr was obviously very intelligent when it came to children. My son wasn't as nervous with this dentist as the last one 5 star experience

The Staff were amazing!!!! They went over everything with me and made sure I understood what was happening..... the ladies at the front desk were great I was very pleased.....the only thing I would recommend tho are better seating for the waiting area other than that amazing service......

This place does GREAT SERVICE, the staffs are top of line pleasant, customer service is great and very detailed with before and after instructions,what I love the most is how my kids gravitated towards the staffs, KIDS KNOW BEST ***** great place
