Dr. Proctor was born and raised in Waukegan, IL and moved to Memphis in order to attend dental school at the University of Tennessee where he received his Doctorate Degree of Dental Surgery. After serving a couple years in the United States Army, he returned to Memphis and has been in private practice ever since. He has continued his education in dentistry over the years at the Pankey Institute and studying under Peter Dawson D.D.S., a renowned TMJ specialist, as well.
He is an avid golf enthusiast and plays several times a week. His other hobbies include serving at his church and overseas mission work. He has been married for 51 years and has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

They are excellent and sooo patient!! My hygienist, Lesly, was so gentle and very understanding regarding my fears about being at the dentist and Dr. Moreta was awesome as well. I'm a new patient, but I felt right at home. They are now stuck with me for life lol!

I am not happy with the Consumer services I received from the dentist and the office manager. I had filling done and they left a wooden tool in my mouth. I kept telling the worker something in my mouth. She kept saying my mouth is nun. She told me to open my mouth and yes it was something there. She removed object from my mouth. I called the office manager to file a complaint. She said she will call me back after she investigate the incident. Currently today I haven't heard back from her. This is so unprofessional. What if I swallow this object walking out the place?

Saw Dr. Griff again today. My daughter and I just love him. He is the most personable person I have ever met. Makes going to the dentist not so bad. He loves his work and family very much! I love that!! He's super cool !!

Since I've been with AFD I've been treated like family. Leslie is very informative, patient, caring, and simply the greatest. I would never go anywhere other that AFD Germantown.
