Dr. Proctor was born and raised in Waukegan, IL and moved to Memphis in order to attend dental school at the University of Tennessee where he received his Doctorate Degree of Dental Surgery. After serving a couple years in the United States Army, he returned to Memphis and has been in private practice ever since. He has continued his education in dentistry over the years at the Pankey Institute and studying under Peter Dawson D.D.S., a renowned TMJ specialist, as well.
He is an avid golf enthusiast and plays several times a week. His other hobbies include serving at his church and overseas mission work. He has been married for 51 years and has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.
