His father, Dr. Joseph Cornelius Jackson is an accomplished orthodontist who has been practicing in St. Petersburg, Florida for nearly thirty years. Dr. Jacksons mother, Dr. Tamara Ewell Jackson, has led an equally distinguished career as a professor at Temple School of Dentistry.
Dr. Jackson attributes his admiration and respect for both his profession and his patients to his parents. Through their years of hard work and devotion to growing their practice, Dr. Jackson observed his parents help many underserved families who lacked regular access to proper treatment.

The American Family Dental practice on Market Street in Lakewood Ranch has been my dentist for almost 18 years and has provided every service I've ever needed. Dr. Jackson & his staff are very caring, proficient & conscientious. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice as they are second to none. You will not be disappointed. ;)

I have been coming to Dr Jackson for a year and a half. When I first moved to Sarasota 2 years ago I started doing my research and I chose this Dr and location. I am very pleased with the Dr and his staff. Every time I come in for a checkup it is clean and everyone is friendly. I have always enjoyed going to the Dentist. I know many people out there don't and may struggle with some anxiety. Dr Jackson and and his Dental Hygienist will absolutely put you at ease! They are so personable and kind. I highly recommend America Family Dental!

Great cleaning experience. Usually have challenges with cleaning process but I had absolutely no discomfort with the new hygienist, Jan.. The care and time she she took with my comfort was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Very sweet dentist and dental hygienist and staff. They are completely kind to new patients and explaining treatment and what processes to do. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I think there needs to be a refresher on ppe providing patients goggles would be fantastic and the importance of protected barriers for their health but other than that absolutely fantastic individuals I will for sure be keeping them as my dentist
