Anna Ciupinski DMD restored any positivity I had surrounding the facility. She is very thorough and very nice. Prior to her, I wasted a trip and was refused a cleaning because I was pregnant which is an antiquated practice.

Came in for a cleaning. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Was checked in quickly. Waited roughly 10 minutes then was taken back. Everyone wore a mask and the office was in general VERY clean. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and family! Very pleasant experience.

I have had a couple appointments with American Dental Associates (Palos Heights) since March 2022. Initially, my experiences were positive. I've always experienced some anxiety for dental visits, but the staff was helpful and made me feel comfortable. I had some difficulty with my second appointment. The dentist I was seeing left the practice. I feel that I could have been given more notice of this so we could have worked together to set up the next appointment sooner. Instead, it took weeks longer to get the appointment time slot that worked best with my schedule. At the time of my third appointment (May 2022) I found out that American Dental Associates no longer follows the CDC guidance for health care facilities (which dental offices are designated as). I left that appointment and won't return to any of their locations (since all locations follow the same mask optional guidance). It's unfortunate since the dentists and dental assistants for my appointments were very good and made for comfortable dental experiences.

Dr. Khan is AMAZING! I visited the Chicago & Palos offices and I was treated with respect every time. The hygienists and front desk staff are great as well! 10/10 recommend American Dental Associates!!

I haven't been to the dentist In a couple of year and I came across this place through my insurance. The office staff is friendly and efficient. The office is very clean and well maintained. I will heat that I am satisfied with my care. I got a deep cleaning today and it was fast and painless. In the past when I had a deep cleaning it took over two hours. I have referred my friend to the office. The only thing I was a little upset about was that I am being charged for an additional X-ray, I was told I had to see another doctor in order for my insurance to cover the deep cleaning, the other doctor examined my teeth and did an additional X-ray of the same things. I think this may have been an error on the office part to repeat the same thing

They also don't give you a teeth cleaning because apparently a general dentist doesn't do that. Ohhh and the topper I can only book 2 appointments for my family of 6 per month. I can't even do follow ups because we have to take turns going. I was told "our system doesn't allow us to book more than 2 appointments." Save your energy and don't bother going there. The office space is small and you are practically right next to each other, no privacy! Ohhh and the topper, they cancelled my appointment and they had no idea why it was cancelled. No notification.

Went today for a cleaning. The doctor told me that I was in need of a deep cleaning and could not perform the routine cleaning. Here is my thought when dealing with new patients and building up a trusting relationship: do the cleaning. People take time out their busy schedules to make these appointments, and it is frustrating when they are turned away. Do the routine cleaning, and then suggest when they come back in six months for their next cleaning that it be a deep cleaning (that requires two separate appointments and costs $900).

I have had many traumatic dental experiences. Dr. Katsnelson is the only oral surgeon I feel comfortable with. The dental assistants at the Palos location are very polite and accommodating. I went for a consultation for upper wisdom teeth removal, and the procedure was done the same day. other patients may have to schedule a follow up to have the procedure done. Highly recommend, don't let anxiety keep you from getting oral care!
