My crown in the front of my mouth broke off and I went there. Its close to my home. I saw Dr Thomas Riutta because they said I needed an implant. I was scared and very nervous. I am petrified of needles and the dentist. He assured me it's going to be ok and it's not as bad as I think True to his word it was not bad and it was over pretty quickly. He did it so quickly. I was so happy. Then I needed a partial and he got it for Mr in 2 days. I awesome guy

I went in for a tooth removal, and nothing went right, first off they kept pushing for me to get anything done that would cost more, Second the doctor couldn't even keep his hand straight and was practically stabbing the end of the tools on my lip, the 2 surrounding teeth are damaged worse then the tooth I had removed, as well as my gum was completely split open for 2 days after the procedure. I am writing this almost a week after my appointment in more pain then I arrived in

I can't say enough positive things about the National Dental office on Commack Road in Commack. Therefore, I am proud to offer my heartfelt and honest review of this wonderful office. The dentist who took care of me and did my bridgework, Dr. Tom Riutta, is not only a brilliant and knowledgeable doctor, but he is also so much more. He has a way of putting you at ease and making you feel safe and in good hands. He works quickly but carefully, and even sings occasionally in a cheerful way to help lighten, what can be a rather tense experience. He is kind, compassionate, and caring. I always understood what the process was, and he made sure the bridge fit flawlessly, was comfortable and perfectly functional. He truly made the whole experience wonderful. He's the best! The office manager, Ms. Wilka Aviles is a lovely and kind, offering a genuine, most welcoming greeting each and every time I went there. She is always cheerful, with a beautiful smile and a reassuring tone that helped me feel comfortable and relaxed. With her expertise at the helm, the entire staff is extremely well organized, professional, efficient, and kind-hearted as well. Overall, the entire experience was an A+! If you are looking for great dental care, National dental is a fantastic choice! Thank you so much! I am happy to put my future dental care in your most capable hands. I am so grateful to entire Commack team for replacing my mother's missing teeth with new implants. Starting from entering into the office so warm and helping people, taking CT scan, explanation of the treatment, taking care of my mother and exiting out with excellent care everything was awesome..definitely recommend to everyone for implants and other dental related services. I can see they offer all dental services under one roof..

This is probably the worst dental experience of my life- In 9 months they have gone thru 4 DDS - 2 labs. . Show up to find appts have been cancelled- no call. You can put a shine on a building but that still won't cover up poor workmanship. Techs are sweet - never got to know a DDS long enough. I suggest you keep looking this is not a good choice-

I will start out with DO NOT GO HERE. Not only were they pushing to charge for things I am not sure I needed and before I was told it is (or may not) covered by insurance they just did it and said I owe them $300. I have two insurance carriers so that should never be an issue. I paid them but they NEVER even tried to get money from the insurance company! Now the insurance company is involved since they never even reported the treatment! I even emailed the main office with no response! They want $$$$ and therefore I moved on to a reputable dentist and wanted to warn everyone to think really hard.

Awful customer service. It has been 5 weeks, no call back. Continuing to get an answering service who promises they will call back, but they do not. The corporate number said "they are not responsible for what each office does, and have no knowledge of what services each office provides" Stay away.

Absolutely awful customer service. When you call, you don't speak to someone directly who can give you an appointment right away. I called twice in one week for an Emergency appointment and was told the office would call me back to get me in ASAP and no one ever returned either of my calls.

Never run on time and always a long wait. The answering service is not connected with the office so appointments are screwed up constantly. This is a I am desperate dental office. They accept Medicaid and that is the exact service you receive, bottom of the barrel. Nobody either seems to care about improving customer service or just don't know where to start. I hate this place and dread anytime I have to do business with them.

The place is very clean, and Ms. Elizabeth Nunez (RDH) did a wonderful job with the cleaning session for me and my family. She is very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her to anyone who goes there!

That place dreadful , I payed for a crown pocket , so I have the post in waiting for the crown to come in the dentist is doing work on the tooth next to it, cracks the remaining piece of tooth where the post was and tells me he can't put the crown in . Not too mention they loose the crown that I payed for and have assumed no responsibility for it. They talk about you in Spanish right in front of you , not realizing I speak Spanish. Terrible place . Just awful

Today I had the most delightful experience. Elizabeth who performed my x-ray and clean up was polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. She is a breath of fresh air. Bob R. Who assisted me with information I needed to move forward was also professional and kind. You can tell this office cares to do the right thing. I will be recommending my friends and family.
