In 1984, Dr. David Shavlik graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. He put his degree to work as a dental hygienist before attending The University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Dr. Shavlik received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1991 and continued extending his dental education by completing a year-long residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Following his education at The University of Iowa, he moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan where he provided dental care to members of the Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
In 1998, the Shavliks relocated to Green Bay where Sandra, Dr. Shavliks wife, worked as a Reading Specialist for the Green Bay Public School District. In addition, they purchased an existing dental practice which is known as Amenity Dental Care, S.C.

I absolutely LOVE everyone at Amenity!! I have severe dental anxiety and I felt comfortable every step of the way. From nice decor, choosing my own music, and so much more. I see Dr. Marli and I couldn't be happier

Highly recommend! Dr. Marli is so wonderful at making my children feel safe and calm while in the dental chair.. and me too! Really, I just had a bridge replaced and had lots of anxiety about it. The dental staff did a beautiful job and the office staff communicated with me in a way that allowed me to get it done as quickly as possible despite my busy schedule as a single mom who works full-time.

Dr Syrj is great! Very thorough exam. Dayna did a great job explaining the process of a crown to me. My boys had a good experience as well. Freindly staff and happy to see all the familiar faces even though the docs are new.

As usual Cindy deserves a 5 +star rating. Timely, efficient, affective, and exuberant from start to finish. A "tooth cleaning" has become "a routine quarterly event" instead of a "dreaded task".
