Dr. Amend has been a life-long member of the Lincoln, Nebraska community. She was born and grew up not far from where her practice resides today. She graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in 1981 and from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1989 and then graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry in 1993.
Dr. Amend is a member of the Lincoln District Dental Association (LDDA), the Nebraska Dental Association (NDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). Other memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry and the Operative Academy of Dentists. As a member of the Spear Study Club, she keeps apprised of the latest innovations in dental health. She also volunteers at the Clinic with aHeart and the Mission of Mercy to provide affordable dental care to members of the local community. Dr. Amed gives back to the community in various ways by serving on several boards and helping various organizations with fund raising.
Jeri has been bringing smiles to the practice since 1983.She started working with Doctors Carlson and Garcia and stayed on with Dr. Amend when she took over the practice. Jeri (and her sense of humor) love working here!She also loves spending time with her family and relaxing attheir cozy, comfortable lake home in the summertime.
