Dr. Kitson is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. Dr. Kitson has worked in the dental field since 1984. For twelve years she practiced as a dental hygienist in Western New York State and Northeast Florida, specializing in periodontics. In 2000 Dr. Kitson joined our practice after obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She is married to David G. Bowers, Jr.

Dr. Bietenholz is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. He has special interests in cosmetic and implant dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2006. He is married to Dr. Katie Bietenholz who is an anesthesiologist at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Bietenholz has two sons, Owen and Zachary and one daughter, Sara.

Dr. Garrett is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. He has special interests in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Garrett graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Masters Degree in Medical Sciences and Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He is married to Kelli Garrett and they have a son Emerson and a daughter Capri.

Dr. Jennifer Mokris is a general dentist providing comprehensive dental care for adults and children. Dr. Mokris graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a minor in Business Administration. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry in 2011. She is married to Dr. Brad Mokris, who is an orthodontist who practices on Amelia Island and in Jacksonville, Florida. They havefour children, Avery, Reese, Austin and Grahamand a goldendoodle, Cooper.

Practice AdministratorOriginally from Fernandina Beach, FL, Teresa joined Amelia Dental Group in 1991 as dental assistant. She has had several administrative positions in our office and became our Practice Administrator in 2010.

Teresa is a proud member of the American Association of Dental Office Management and serves as the President of the AADOM Northeast Florida Chapter an association for Practice Administrators, Office Managers and Administrative Teams.

She received her Diplomate from the American Association of Dental Office Management in the fall of 2021 in Orlando, FL. Teresa was recognized nationally by being awarded American Association of Dental Office Managements Practice Administrator of the year in 2021!

She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to kayak, spend days on the beach, reading, shopping, and traveling to new places. She is married to John, and they have three children, Ashley, Jonathan, and Saralyn.

Treatment CoordinatorOriginally from Blakely, GA, Tina joined our practice in 1986 as a Dental Assistant and over the years has had several administrative positions but is now one of our Treatment Coordinators. She graduated from Florida State College in Jacksonville as a certified Dental Assistant, with her Associates Degree in Education. She loves spending time with her family, reading and going out on the boat.

Treatment CoordinatorOriginally from Fernandina Beach, FL, Kellyn joined our practice in 2009 and has had several administrative positions but is now one of our Treatment Coordinators. She is involved with American Association of Dental Office Managers and is working towards her FAADOM. She graduated in 2009 from SantaFe Community college in Gainesville with her Associates in Applied Science. She loves being outdoors with her husband and 2 children. They enjoy traveling to Tennessee, but when they are home their activates include kayaking, bike riding and spending time with their extended family.

Insurance CoordinatorOriginally from Indiana, Kim joined our practice in 2007 and has had several administrative positions but is now our Insurance Coordinator. She has been in dentistry over 15 years and is involved with American Association of Dental Office Managers. On her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, enjoy time in her yard gardening and taking long walks with her miniature schnauzer Charlie.

Treatment Coordinator Originally from Southport, NC, Michell has been in dentistry for over 15 years, and joined our practice in 2017. She has had several administrative positions with us but is now one of our Treatment Coordinators. She loves to spend time with her family, going on golf cart rides and walks with her yellow lab Dixie.

Originally from Fernandina Beach, FL, Emma joined our practice in 2019 as our New Patient Coordinator. She is involved with American Association of Dental Office Managers and is working towards her FAADOM. She loves to cook, work out and spend time with her son Rowan.

Patient Coordinator Originally from Seattle, WA, Kyriana joined our practice in 2021 as our Patient Coordinator. She graduated from ECPI University in 2015 in Virginia Beach as a dental assistant with her Associates in Applied Science. She loves spending time with her son Khayden and watching the Seattle Seahawks on Sundays.

Originally from New Smyrna Beach, FL, Kalee joined our practice in 2021. She is currently attending school for her Masters Degree. She is a member of First Baptist church and loves spending time with her husband Jonathan, who is the youth leader at the church. You can also find her outside exploring with her chihuahua mix Sadie.

Originally from Jacksonville, FL, Tiffany joined our practice in 2021 as a Treatment Coordinator. She has been in dentistry over 15 years and is involved with American Association of Dental Office Managers. She loves to travel with her husband Jeremy, going to theme parks and spending time with her family.

Originally from Monticello, GA, Samantha joined our practice in 2020. She is involved with American Association of Dental Office Managers and is working towards her FAADOM. She loves to spend time with her grandkids and go to the beach.

Registered Dental HygienistOriginally from Bunnell, FL, Teresa joined our practice in 1981 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She took time away to raise her son Trevor and her daughter Kristen and returned to ADG in 1993. She graduated from Florida Junior College at Jacksonville in 1979 and is a member of Rivers Edge Church in Hillard. She enjoys having family beach time with her 6 grandchildren, needle point/ embroidery, crocheting, bike riding and teaching jazzercise.

Registered Dental Hygienist Originally from Rumson, NJ, Kathy joined our practice in 1996 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Texas Womans University in 1984 with her Bachelors degree and is currently a member of St. Michaels Church. She enjoys the beach, exercising, shopping, and baking.

She graduated from Florida Community College of Jacksonville in 2002, received her Bachelors in 2005 from St. Petersburg College and her Masters in 2009 from NOVA Southeastern University. She is a member at First Baptist Church and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband Jesse, her 2 sons Grady and Cooper and their dog Gracie out on the water.

Registered Dental HygienistOriginally from North Carolina, Mandy moved to Fernandina Beach when she was 3 so she considers herself a local. Mandy joined our practice in 2009 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville in 2003. She grew up on the island riding horses but enjoys spending time with her Husband Marc and their sons Sam and Max. She aspires to have a small farm but for now she has a French bulldog Mayvis- Jean, a German shepherd Cash and 6 chickens.

Registered Dental Hygienist Originally from Ohio, Patti joined our practice in 2010 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Florida Community College of Jacksonville in 1993 and received her Bachelors at Southern Illinois University in 2011. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff, daughter Morgan, their brittnepoo Molly and their boykin spaniel Macy. Together they enjoy going out on the boat, motorcycle rides, camping, hunting deer and enjoy the civilian life, due to her husband Jeff retiring from the Navy after 38 years of being active duty.

She graduated from Florida State College of Jacksonville in 1995 and she attends The Journey Church in Yulee. She is a certified LesMills fitness enthusiast and enjoys exercise, long distance biking, hiking, paddle boarding, tennis and making stained glass.

She enjoys spending time with her son Tyrin, chihuahua jack russell terrier Tide and her family. She also enjoys going to the beach, going to the pool, and shopping.
