Dr. Paul Hwang graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in biology and philosophy and a minor in biochemistry. He continued his education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor School of Dentistry, graduating with honors in 2004. Immediately, he began his residency at the University of Michigan Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree from the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies.
Dr. Paul Hwang is licensed to practice orthodontics in both Michigan and Ohio. He is also an active member of a number of prestigious dental associations and societies. As part of his ongoing effort to care for his patients as effectively and thoroughly as possible, Dr. Hwang stays up to date on the latest orthodontic treatment technologies and tools available. His easygoing demeanor with both patients and parents makes treatment fun, while his expert knowledge and use of scientifically proven state-of-the-art procedures ensures success. The well-being of his patients is always his highest priority, and his commitment to quality, success and education is second-to-none.

We've been going to Dr.Paul's office for years. All five of my kids have been patients there. Three with braces and two with Invisalign. Every time we go it's always a great experience. Dr. Paul and his staff are so wonderful! We definitely would recommend them. 5 stars for sure!

I waited until my son finished his years of braces to review bc anyone can be nice at first but Dr. Paul and his staff were incredible the entire 3 years! Always smiling, friendly and wonderful! I would recommend ANYONE who needs an orthodontist to see him!

Friendly staff and very accommodating for a family with a tight schedule! Not as pricey as some other local places- important when you have twins needing braces! I highly recommend Amazing Smiles!

I am very happy with my experience at Amazing Smiles Orthodontics. As an adult, I am a non-traditional orthodontic patient. Dr. Paul and his staff are fantastic and helped me through my Invisalign journey. My teeth are very straight and I am very happy with my results. My daughter is now a patient as well.

61 years with extremely crowded teeth. Dr Paul has untangled them and is correcting my bite. I can clean them so much easier. I look better, my family can't believe how different my teeth are. Dr Paul and the staff make me feel at home and comfortable even through Covid.
