A native of Bogota, Colombia; Dr. Amaya worked for the government providing dental services and developing prevention programs. He got a second degree in the field, Doctor of Dental Surgery, from Loma Linda University in California, U.S. in 2005. After graduation, Dr. Amaya moved to Atlanta, GA; and worked at Atlanta Dental Center from 2007 to 2012. Dr. Amaya moved to Miami in 2012, where he has established his practice as he very much enjoys the diversity and warmth of the city. He regularly attends dental conferences around the country to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques. Your Dentist in Miami!
Dr. Barry Scholl graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY in 1964. He attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S. in 1968. Dr. Scholl was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, and Pope Air Force Base until 1970. In Miami, Dr. Scholl has been a member of the East Coast District Dental Society, The Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Scholl was the President of the Dental Department at the Robert Morgan Technical School, and in many occasions has volunteered his time in the Dental Unit at Lindsy Hopkins Technical Education Center. Dr. Scholl has awards from the Dade County Board of education, and Miami High School for donation of his time and work.
A native of Medellin, Colombia, Dr. Gabriel Jaramillo graduated from C.E.S. dental school in 1989 and worked in his country for ten years before moving to Florida. He received his dental degree at NOVA Southeastern University in 2010. He has attended implant courses, among other continuing education programs. Dr Jaramillo works as an associate with Dr Amaya, where he always offers the best services in a very professional way, keeping a very friendly environment for everyone around him.
Dr. Jessica Papir grew up in South Florida and has been practicing dentistry in Miami-Dade and Broward for 15 years. She is a graduate of Florida State University and earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from University of Florida. After earning her Dental Degree, she moved to New York to complete her General Practice Residency at the Medical College of New York. When her dental residency was completed, Dr. Papir returned to South Florida to practice Dentistry. Dr. Papir strives to deliver dental care to each patient in a tranquil and pleasant atmosphere. She is among the most accomplished and regarded general dentists in South Florida due to her expertise in the Dental Field. Dr. Papir is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. One of Dr. Papirs favorite pastimes is traveling with her Husband and two children. In addition to traveling, she enjoys Yoga.
Dr. Gabriel A. Quiones-Betancourt attended The Ohio State University, in Columbus, OH, where he completed a Bachelors Degree in Biology and then went on to complete a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating at the top of his class with Cum Laude honors. After dental school, Dr. Quiones relocated to South Florida to further his education by completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center. Throughout his residency training, Dr. Quiones increased his proficiency with restorative dental treatment, root canal procedures, implant placement, and surgical extractions. He continually strives to improve his clinical skills by regularly participating in Continuing Education courses so that he can deliver the most up-to-date, research-driven treatment to his patients. In his free time, Dr. Quiones loves portrait photography, travel, and spending time with his friends and family. He has come to call Miamihomeand is passionate about giving back to his community.

My name is Eardley. Truly an amazing experience. The moment you walk through the door you feel a sense of family. Professional, comforting. At no point I felt like this was about anything other than the best care. Jade, Patricia, my amazing hygienist Susan, Dr Papir and Judy (de Jamaican)....amazing staff. Thank you for what you do and making me feel at ease. See you guys again next week.

I highly recommend this dental office. They have the most friendly, patient and knowledgeable staff that I have come across in years. I was in need of a new dentist and someone told me about Amaya Dental and I am so glad I decided to give them a try. Simply the best people by far that I have had the experience of being around I just love it there. If you're a person like me that appreciates wonderful service and great people I recommend that you give them a try. I did and I'm not going anywhere. Stay safe people.

Jackie is amazing she is wonderful my teeth was really dirty and stained I don't know how she did it but she made my smile so bright again thanks so much god bless you Jackie this is the best birthday gift ever!!!!! I had an AMAZING experience at the Amaya Pembroke office. I previously went to the Miami location and kept going back because of the amazing service but this office is equally as great. Dr. Papir and Judy did a fantastic job on my fillings and I felt next to nothing. Susan who did my cleaning was gentle, kind, and informative. From the lovely ladies at the front desk to everyone who worked in on my teeth, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend everyone to come here. They truly show that they care about their patients and as if you are part of the Amaya family.

Alwaaaaysss a smoooth and easy experience for me I been going to this dentist office for a few years now and never had any issues even had Dr. Jaramillo take out one of my wisdom tooth this year, which I never thought I would do!! lol Jaade and Patricia at the front desk always make sure im on point with my appointments and they're pretty friendly. Overall the office is always a calm and quiet atmosphere and 100% recommended! Judy is top notch with the fillings and Alejandra Gives the best cleanings but thats just my opinion

Just went for a checkup after a long time and the only issue I have is trying to figure out why the people there are so nice. It was pleasant and quick and yes, they are my default dental place now.

Highly recommend this dental location. Patricia and Jaade who work at the front desk are so nice, always have a friendly attitude. Dr.Iglesias and Judy(assistant) are very knowledgeable and makes things easy to understand. They have a passion for providing care to those in need, world class service.
