Dr. Courtney Carthel was raised in Vega, where she graduated Salutatorian from Vega High in 2004. She then attended Angelo State University, where she found her calling in Dentistry while assisting at an Oral Surgery practice in San Angelo. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Angelo State, Courtney was enrolled in Dental School at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she graduated in 2013 ranked 2nd in her class. Dr. Carthel then practiced at Houstonian Dental in Houston for four years before returning home to Amarillo, where she has practiced five years prior to joining Amarillo Dental Works.
Courtney and her husband Dr. Kade Carthel, an Interventional Cardiologist here in Amarillo, have two young children, Capp and Collyns. When not treating patients or chasing kids, Courtney enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending time in the Great Outdoors.

Everyone was very friendly. I came out with a plan for work that needs to be done. However, I am still in pain. Nothing was done for the reason I made the appointment. I will need to find someone to deal with the stuff happening right now.
