Extremely unprofessional. I waited a month for an appointment for my son because he needed work done and this morning they called and cancelled his appointment. Now he has to start school without necessary work while we find another dentist. Frankly, I am wondering if they cancelled because I questioned their mask policy last week. If they didn't want to see us over a question, they should have said so then, not cancelled the morning of the appointment.

I scheduled a cleaning, and they purposely delayed the cleaning and wanted to stretch it out over three visits. Money-hungry and have no care or consideration for the patient. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I have been going to Amara Dental for years. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.Thank you.

The medical staff is wonderful but the Front Desk is a raging mess. I have been using them for years. Tired of the front desk. Totally incompotent. I have to constantly resubmitt my insurance. They are not capable of taking the copy of my insurance card and putting it in my records. Then they give me an attitude about there incompetence. After nemerous years I am moving on.

Efficient, well-run operations, caring & nurturing staff really minimize the anxiety & stress of dental work. Dr. A is hands-down the best dentist I've ever been to. I've been a patient here for 5 years & wouldn't go anywhere else!

Hi the staff in the front desk are horrible bad attitude specifically the old lady with short hair i would never go back again.

I went there this week for my cleaning. Michael cleaned my teeth and he did a fabulous job. He is patient and kind considering how sensitive my teeth are. Great Job Amara Dental of Howell!!!

I had to have a lot of procedures done and so I was a bit anxious however... Dr A was knowledgeable professional with a comforting bedside manner which made my experience stress free. As was his staff. Kind and consider of my needs and feelings. I highly recommend them!

Many Years ago, as I would drive to my dentist's office, with thoughts of the smells of the antiseptics, the pain, and anxiety that lie ahead as I sat in the dentist's chair. Then, about 15 years ago, on the recommendation of a friend, I was given a business card for Dr. Steven Abbaticchio and his dental office located in a strip mall on Route 9 in Howell, NJ. The name of that dental office is Amara Dental. That first visit to Dr. A's office changed my negative feelings about dentistry. Even now, at Amara, from the moment you enter the office, the front desk Staff, then a few minutes later, the Dental Hygienists and Dr. A. all make the patient feel welcome and at ease. All of Amara's dental equipment are up to date and of the finest quality. Over the years, the costs associated with my (minor) fillings, partial dentures, and crowns procedures were explained to me and (no lie) during each process I experienced no pain. As an added plus with the exception of a very reasonable co-pay, all of my procedures were covered by my dental insurance. With each upcoming appointment, I look forward, without any apprehension, to returning to Dr. A. and his Team for my bi-annual checkup and cleaning. John Ben, Brick, NJ

Dr A is so patient and gentle. He did a great job replacing my veneer and matching it to tge rest of my teeth. Highly recommend him and his staff.

My first visit was today. It was awful. I felt completely rushed. They took my x rays, and checked my gums to see how deep of a cleaning I would need. After that the dentist came in, he spoke so fast I couldn't tell if he was talking to me or the singing tech. Yes she sang to all the songs on the radio. Then they said since I need a deeper cleaning the receptionist would check into what insurance pays. I'm thinking as I wait in the chair for a few minutes. Nope they take off the bib walk me to the front where the receptionist informs me she'll call in 3 days with what my insurance covers for deep cleaning. Are you kidding me, I waited weeks to go get a cleaning, I'm nervous enough going through this and now you tell me you'll call me in three days. I now need to find another new dentist and go through this all over again. Terrible service, who schedules a cleaning and then doesn't actually get one?!?
