Not happy at all!!!! Been going to them for over 10 years. I think they're giving unnecessary route canals. Won't be going back. Definitely looking for a new dentist!!!!!!

Received routine care in the past for a medical condition. I called for an upcoming appointment and the copay was more than double the previous rate due to higher level of treatment needed ($76 to $175). I asked to receive a callback as they stated I "may have a credit on my account that can be applied" although they were not sure and I was also interested in alternative preventive options. I called back about three hours later and was informed there was no credit to be applied which was fine. I asked about other preventive appointment options in the meantime as the $200 charge was unexpected. As a patient with a medical condition requesting other forms of preventive care I was rejected other forms of preventive care as they told me I "had no other options". To hear that a staff of highly trained healthcare professionals cannot provide any other forms of preventive care for a condition that is not terminal is extremely alarming and seems almost unethical.

we came for annual cleaning, paid by our insurance, instead dr. spent our appointment time for different procedures without even asked us if have any complains, said they didn't have time for scheduled cleaning, reschedule our cleaning and sent bills for procedures we didn't requested $ 290.00/person

I am not a fan of the dentist, at all! Dr. David was awesome at making sure I was as comfortable as possible! He walked me through each step of the process letting me know what he was going to do before he did it. I can't remember his assistance name, but she was awesome as well!

Where do I even start. First they charge there patience $1 to wear a mask that is no longer inforced by state. My bridge broke and they tried to force a 500$ bill on me saying I HAD to get a temp crown and they insulted me by saying I must think I'm in a chop shop for asking to turn my old bridge into a temp crown for the time being..they didn't but someone else did and guess what there's a code for the insurance company to charge for modification to bridges to make them crowns!!

This was my first visit to this office. I went there because my regular office no longer has a dental hygienist and I wanted my teeth cleaned. First, the office is beautiful! The staff is friendly. I didn't wait long. Dental assistant, Melissa was exceptional! She's friendly, she took care in taking my X-rays, and she gave me a fluoride treatment. The dental hygienist, Lisa was friendly. She explained the process and she thought my teeth were very clean already. The only downfall was she polished my teeth for like 30 seconds. She put the toothpaste on and then told me to rinse. I didn't think she did a thorough cleaning job. I even said, that's it, you're done? I'm used to a longer cleaning process. Dr. George was great! He was friendly and explained everything he was doing. We scheduled for 6 months. When I brushed my teeth before bedtime and got that fluoride off, I didn't think my teeth were any cleaner. So, that was the disappointing part. But that was the reason I went there. Otherwise, the experience was great.

The Dentist Dr. George is very gentle and patient. He made my first visit to the dentist in years comfortable and put me at ease. I believe he's the only one on site so be prepared to wait but highly recommend him. I ended up calling to get a earlier appt. for an extraction and they were compassionate and accommodating. Dr. George listens and is caring and excellent at what he does.

I'm 83 , retired and former owner of 4 companies and have been to many dentists in my life time. WHY Amara? Quality !!!, in all areas from the cordial staff to the great hi-gentists and the Dentist. I give it 6 starts

There's something about Amara Dental that feels like a dental mill or a massage envy for teeth. Not a good thing. I made an appointment here a year ago for a cleaning. It was February and there was wintery weather. I got a call to confirm I was still coming in maybe an hour or 2 before our appointments. I arrange child care and drive in the snow to get there to be told on the way back to the exam room that their hygienist didn't show that day so they couldn't clean my teeth. Wouldn't they have know that when they called? So I get to the room and they do X-rays and start trying to sell me on cosmetic procedures. I told them I wasn't interested. The X-rays showed I had a cavity so I was scheduled to come back in a month to get that done. They tell me I can't have my teeth cleaned until I have the cavity done and that I need to schedule another appointment for that 2 months later. The whole reason I was there was for a tooth cleaning and they end up doing some unwanted consult instead and bill my insurance in a way that cost me a couple hundred dollars. So anyway I come back for the cavity and the dentist messes with an unrelated tooth and creates an issue that my next dentist tells me increases the risk of my tooth cracking. Over the next few weeks I have increasing tooth pain. I go back to Amara and the dentist says I need a root canal. I told him I was in a great deal of pain and he said to continue Tylenol when I was already maxing daily dosage on that and Motrin. Finally I made the decision to go to another dentist who got me in the next day in an emergency slot. He was able to give me actual good care and did a treatment to the nerve that took my pain away in an hour. It held me over until I was able to get a root canal. This other dentist was going to let me feel like that for a week. I can't believe all the good reviews this place has. I was going to leave it alone, but I've been getting bills and calls about a $25 copay from last year. Absolutely not. Please do not get anything above a cleaning at this place - although for me they couldn't even handle that.

My recent ( first) experience with the staff at Amara Dental was amazing. The professional courtesy of the welcoming staff to the various procedures( exam, cleaning , etc) performed by the doctors were second to none. My wife also expressed a similar experience during her visit. My sincere thanks and appreciation to the entire staff. I recall a Famous quotation which states " The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team". Thanks again !

Dr George and the assistant girls were great. Dr George saved my tooth Jackie was wonderful. Dr Shalit amd his male assistant were horrible two days before that to me. Very unprofessional and lied to me several times. I will always recommend Dr George for a great patient experience and a great dentist.

I have been a patient at this dental office for four years, and I am still impressed with their work. Everyone from the administration team to the dental care team are extremely friendly, helpful, and skilled in their discipline. As to treatment, they actually listen to you here and create comfortable treatment plans that are flexible and effective. The dentist is really nice, has a gentle way of treating teeth, and makes sure you are comfortable. The hours are terrific- you can always get in and the wait time is never long. I have terrible dental anxiety and the moment I sit in the chair, their team has a way of putting me at ease- I never worry when I come here and will not go anywhere else.

Great office. It was nice and clean. The staff are professional and made me feel very welcome. Also I could sense the dedication of their hygienist, she was very nice and patient with me. Would recommend to others.
