As a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Lee strives to provide quality care while making visits to the dentist fun for kids of all ages. We love to see smiles. And yepthat goes for parents, too. This kid and parent-friendly office offers a play area, coffee bar and tech-forward environment to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.
After growing up in Morehead City and graduating magna cum laude from UNC-Wilmington, Dr. Lee left the coast to attend dental school at the UNC School of Dentistry. She received her dental degree, with honors, in 2010.
Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at UNC Hospitals. This experience allowed her to advance her skills in treating special needs and medically compromised patients. Dr. Lee then worked as a general dentist in Durham for 4 years.
During her time working at a family dentistry practice, her love of pediatric dentistry grew. She then left for Nashville, TN to complete her pediatric specialty training through the Lutheran Medical Center.After some time spent working as a pediatric dentist in Nashville, TN she decided to return home to NC. Dr. Lee is proud to be a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is excited to serve as Hillsboroughs local pediatric dentist. I can't say enough about this place..... My son has had such a fear of the dentist and Dr.Lee and her staff has made it easier for him. He got a procedure done there and they were absolutely amazing! The staff in the front and back are so great!

Prior to her pediatric dentistry, Dr Lee was my Dentist nearly a decade ago. Now, she is my Daughter's dentist for good reason. My experience with Dr. Lee for myself and my family has been more than rewarding. She makes you feel like family and is one of the most caring and compassionate Dentists I have ever encountered. Recently, my 2 year old was found to need advanced dental care in a surgical unit. Dr. Lee and her team fully prepared and supported my family throughout the process, making the emotional toll much easier to shoulder. I applaud Dr. Lee and her staff for continuing to be there for my Daughter and my Family. Additionally, the dentist office itself is a good reflection of the service Dr. Lee provides... Exceptionally clean, modern and accommodating. If you ever question your current dentist and are looking for a change, I certainly recommend Dr Lee.

Dr. Amanda Lee and her team are amazing! My son had a procedure there today which he was a little nervous about. They were so kind and calm and explained everything to him ahead of time, completely easing all his worries. They eased my worries as well by allowing me to be present in the room with him. They work efficiently and had us out of there in no time! You can tell they really enjoy their work as professionals and care about their patients as people. I highly recommend Hillsborough Pediatric Dentistry. Five shining stars!

I would recommend this practice for small children (we have a 4 year old). They were very kind but also very fast. They were very encouraging and positive. Dr. Lee did a great job explaining everything to us. Her approach is laid back and she also seems very knowledgable. We were very happy with our experience!
