Some people dread visiting a dentist: my team and I work hard to make our office a place where people can relax and laugh during a procedure. I love making each person feel comfortable and explaining what well be doing as a way to educate and take away their fears.

Communication is an integral part of what I do. Talking with people, listening to their stories and learning about what has gone into shaping the person in my chair is one of my favorite parts of my job not to mention creating healthy, long-lasting, beautiful smiles!

My goal in dentistry is to make sure you, as the patient, know all of your options: the good, the bad, and the ugly. One of the most important responsibilities of my job is to educate you so you can make informed decisions about your oral health. I encourage you to ask as many questions as you like: my team and I are thrilled to answer!

The University of the Pacific educates their dental students to always treat patients with evidence-based dentistry. Dentistry is ever-evolving, with new products, new techniques, and new philosophies. It is critical that dentists stay current on these developments, else they are doing a disservice to their patients.

Dr. Farleys goal is to provide her patients with the best dental experience, using proven techniques and technology, always tailored to each persons unique needs. In order to do this, she regularly completes continuing education courses at conferences, attends lectures and seminars, and participates in study clubs.

Dr. Farley grew up in Oakdale and recently purchased a home in Ceres with her boyfriend, Andrew, who is a commercial pilot. They are excited to have a backyard for Lady and Birdie, their fur children who keeps the couple laughing and covered with licks!

When shes not seeing patients, Dr. Farley loves flying around the West Coast. Andrew is a licensed pilot and the family often grabs Lady and heads off for an adventure at the drop of a hat. Theyve flown to Canada, San Diego, Scottsdale, and Reno on longer trips. They love hopping over to Half Moon Bay during the warmer months to cool off for a few hours and escape the Central Valley heat. They also enjoy gardening, scuba diving and eating at new places of all kinds.

She also volunteers with CDA Cares, which provides free dental care to the underserved in the community. She has served as a member of the Stanislaus Dental Society, completing her service in 2020 as the President. She has represented Stanislaus County on a state level with the California Dental Association at the House of Delegates.

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

The dental hygienists at Amanda Farley, DDS are dedicated to ensuring our patients oral health and well being. When you visit our Modesto dental office for a professional cleaning, your dental hygienist will review you medical history, take any necessary X-rays, clean your teeth, provide fluoride if necessary, and offer education on the best ways to care for your teeth and gums at home.

I earned my AS in Biochemistry and AS in Dental Hygiene, and began my career in dentistry in 1977. I joined Dr. Farleys office in 2000. In the past 18 years, Ive enjoyed giving quality care to our patients and getting to know their families. I love the team approach here at Dr. Farleys office, and the ladies who are wonderful to work with.

I have been married for 40 years to my husband Wayne. We have a son David and a daughter Emily, and two grand dogs Tyson and Joy. I enjoy water aerobics and the elliptical machine for exercise and fun. In my spare time, I am a consultant for Mary Kay cosmetics and volunteer with Soroptomist, Community Christmas tree, and Dream it, Be it for high school aged girls.

I began my career in dentistry as an assistant in 2014 before continuing my education at Carrington College to become an RDH in 2017. I love meeting new people and getting to know each and every patient. Im also fortunate to work with such an amazing group of people. Dr. Farley is the best doctor to work with! She genuinely cares about her staff and her patients and goes above and beyond to make you feel appreciated. I feel at home in this office, with this staff.

I am engaged to my wonderful fianc Steven. We are getting married in Maui in 2019! We live in Modesto with our three cats and I am hoping to get a French bulldog soon! I love going to concerts, camping, hiking, working out, and playing soccer.

I had wanted to be a hygienist since I was 11 years old. My hygienist at that time was very kind and friendly and talked about her job. I thought I would like to be just like her, and her name was also Sue! I completed my dental assisting program in 1976-1977 and continued on to Chabot College from 1977-1981, graduating from the hygiene program. Ive been a part of Dr. Farleys team since 2003. I enjoy seeing my regular patients and catching up on their lives, and I love meeting new people too! Its gratifying to see my patients improve on their oral health.

Our dental assistants can be found assisting with patient care alongside Dr. Farley, assisting the hygiene department, doing sterilization, taking impressions, and ordering office materials. They are here to make sure you are comfortable and have an excellent dental experience at our office.

I graduated in 2018 from San Joaquin Valley Colleges dental assisting program and joined Dr. Farleys team shortly after. I love learning new things and helping people feel better about going to the dentist. Everyone here is helpful and understanding, and has made me feel at home in the office. It is a happy work environment and I feel like I have a second family.

I completed dental assisting school at Gayland College in Modesto in 1991 and finished my RDAEF training at UCSF in 1997. Since joining Dr. Farley in 2002, its been my pleasure to build relationships with our patients and work with the wonderful women on our team. They are like my family and awesome in their own individual ways.

I have been married for 24 years to my husband, Keith. I have two children Justin and Serra, and two beautiful grandchildren Kara and Hunter. I love spending time with my family and going out to dinner or a movie, but most of all, I love hanging out at home. I enjoy gardening, raising chickens, and canning, all with the help of my two dogs Dobby and Jack.

I help patients receive the dental care they need by explaining treatment to patients, looking up their insurance benefits, providing the best treatment options, and helping guide them in maximizing their dental benefits. Dental insurance is always changing so my favorite part about my job is educating patients as much as I can about their insurance. I also enjoy building relationships with the patients and their families.

I was born in the Bay Area and raised in Turlock. In 2017, I married my high school sweetheart on our ten-year anniversary. I just became a first time mom to an adorable little boy and I love watching him grow every day. On my free time, I enjoy CrossFit and running.

Lady is our office mascot and can be heard welcoming you in with a bark most (if not all) days. She has three loves in life - Food, Pets and her People. In that order! Dr. Farley rescued her in 2014 at 2 years old and they have been inseparable since! Lady is well traveled herself and has taken trips to Seattle, Tahoe, Monterey, San Diego and Scottsdale. She is half Cocker Spaniel, and parts Shitzu, Poodle and Super Mutt. Feel free to ask for pets anytime you come in, she loves to lick and get attention from patients!

In order to provide this level of dental care, Dr. Amanda Farley and her team invest the time to establish open communication. You have specific dental goals, as well as personal concerns, and we want to understand your situation.

We will ask many questions, actively listen to your answers, and always be direct and transparent in talking with you. Doing so allows us to build a relationship, one based on mutual respect, trust, and a desire to partner in order to achieve optimal oral health and a smile you love.

  • We make visits comfortable! From an inviting reception area with a complimentary coffee bar and bottled water to supportive treatment chairs, we want you to always feel welcome, secure, and able to relax. Dr. Farley and our clinical staff are patient and known for their gentle touch. If there is ever anything we can do to make a procedure more pleasant, please let us know: we care!
  • We offer evidence-based treatment recommendations and care! Evidence-based dentistry, supported by the highest scientific and medical evidence, means the best treatment for your needs. Dr. Farley chooses to practice in the most conservative sense, always thinking about what is ideal for you. She knows there is a time to treat and a time to advise and will discuss these with you, keeping you informed of your oral health.
  • We are passionate about education, ours and yours! Dr. Farley and our staff regularly participate in continuing educational opportunities, staying current on the latest techniques and research. We will share what we learn with you, focusing on the information that is most relevant to your dental goals and needs.
