Dr. Jacob DeVinney has the ultimate 'patients' as he and his dental staff create magical smiles. He has moved to Pleasanton and has acquired Amador Dental & Orthodontic from Dr. Craig Sjoberg, who will shift from his current role at Amador Dental into retirement.
Upon six years of service in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and ENT surgical technician, careful consideration and a career shift beckoned Dr. DeVinney back to school. Graduating from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. degree in Biology, he then earned his dental degree from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC.
Dr. DeVinney enjoys spending time with his family, and is always looking for ways to give back. He, his wife, a respected physician, and their two children, reside in Pleasanton. He is overwhelmed with the friendliness in Pleasanton, where folks gather together to celebrate their community and generally take care of one another. As a family-oriented town, Dr. DeVinney knows that this is the right place for his practice, and to raise his family.
As the new dentist in town, Dr. DeVinney, with his own award-winning smile and hospitable demeanor, welcomes new friends and patients. Understanding how daunting a dental visit may be, Dr. DeVinney provides gentle dentistry, carefully explaining each procedure so that his patients are comfortable and confident with the dental procedures and the experience.

Dr. Rondon graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2002 with a B.S. in Business Administration and went on to Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and earned her doctorate of dental surgery in 2008.
In 2009, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Loma Linda VA Hospital and received extensive training in providing care in a hospital and operating room environment. In 2012, Dr. Rondon completed a residency in periodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy and St. John Providence Hospital, where she led as chief resident and also received a M.S. degree.
In her free time, Dr. Rondon enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, and her kids, Gia and AJ. Her other hobbies include reading, yoga, playing the harp and piano. She also loves to travel and give back through mission service and outreach.
Dr. Jamali, a Stanford graduate, was the youngest physician to sit on the Board of Commissioners of the Joint Commission. She is an Internal Medicine Physician, with medical device patents in the field of safety and quality, but she still manages to run her busy thriving private practice.
As a leading figure in a movement of minimally invasive beauty procedures, and developer of her own medical grade skincare line, she knows how to integrate her medical knowledge with her love of art and beauty and blends it into all of her products. Behind her public persona, she is a dedicated wife and a mother of two.

I have been employed with Amador Dental & Orthodontic in Pleasanton for 28 years! I started as his lead assistant and have worked into a front office management position. I have three great sons who keep me busy and I enjoy hiking and biking in the beautiful tri-valley.

Start treatment at this place at your own risk. A revolving door of orthodontist, dental assistants and accounting personal. No one stays employed here more than a couple months except Jake. So bad that I had to stop treatment here for Invisalign after two years and pay for braces at another dental office because of their misdiagnosis and overall incompetence after I paid them in full $5800 mind you. I have never written a bad review for any business but my experience with them was the biggest waste of time and money ever in my 40 years of life and compelled me to do so. If you do choose this place make sure you keep a record of all payments made to them and be prepared to meet several different employees and personal during your treatment. I would give this place a minus 6 stars if I could. Beware as they will try to sell you on things you do not require, I literally had three different orthodontist treat me during my time there. Five different receptionist, four different accounting people, and god knows how many different dental assistant's. Everyone quits this place and you can't get good treatment like that. Trust me don't do it, you will regret it.

It was great and the cleaning and x rays went really well. The only thing is that I was waiting for a while. I showed up 20 mins early for my blood test and the appt still started late.

Overall very good experience. Hygenist was very detailed,gentle,thorough and focused. Dr Devinney is always very professional, kind and attentive. He never pushes any unecessary work and gives advice in your best interest. It is always a very pleasant experience. 12/23/2020 I had toothache for a couple of days and they got me in last minute before closing for the holidays. Because of Covid they give everyone a test before working on you and let you know the results in 10 minutes. They bill your insurance for the test too. Dr Devinney is very gentle , patient and always explains everything clearly. I drive from Danville to Pleasanton to continue being treated at this office and have been a patient since 2000. I trust this office as Dr Devinney is experienced. Tracy is a great hygienist with impeccable work too. Overall if you are looking for a Dentist try Dr Devinney you will not be disappointed.

This place has always been great. This morning I was able to get in for an emergency, last minute appointment. The staff worked fast and diligently. I was referred to a specialist who will see me later today. I am thankful I was able to get the care I needed.

I appreciate the thorough check-in process which included temperature testing and blood test for Covid infection. Results were available in just 10 minutes! I also noticed the immediate wipe-down on areas previously occupied by patients. Great job protecting your patients, Dr. D! Shout out to all his staff as well - very friendly and professional.
