The state of the art San Jose office is headed by Dr. Sheila Villano. She and her staff are ready and willing to assist clients with dental maintenance and overall dental health, as well as provide services for exams, x-rays, dental implants, and also specialize in Six Month Smiles, a group of procedures performed according to the individual clients needs. Great services arent the only things you can expect from Alum Rock Dental. Dr. Villano and her team are dedicated to exceptional customer service and ensuring each and every client feels comfortable and at home.
Dr. Sheila Villano has been a licensed general dentist in California since 1994. She graduated from University of the East, Manila, Philippines in 1990. She then went to United States to pursue her career in dentistry.
She attends different continuing education to keep her abreast with the latest dental technology, practice and management. She loves doing a lot of surgery in her practice like wisdom teeth removal. Besides that, she does root canals, cosmetic, dentures , crowns, restorative and short term braces, She does her work with passion and care for her patient's well being. She regularly goes to dental mission in the Philippines and is looking forward to do it in other underserved country.
We provide both family dentistry and orthodontics for all ages. Our newly upgraded office and online service has been expanded to provide better care for our patients. We welcome you to stop in to see our changes and look forward to seeing you!
Loree Davila (green smock) is our Senior Assistant with more than 15 years of experience serving the Dental Care needs of patients, and providing support for our Dental Staff as we deliver incredible service, she speaks fluent Spanish.
Rose Flores, (blue jacket) is our marketing, promotion, and all around get things done person, she speaks loves children and youth, and gives guidance to our philanthropic and outreach services, and speaks Spanish

Words can't express how grateful I am of finding this dentist. They went above and beyond to help me. Everyone was really kind and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough

Dr. Shelia really is the best and has the most gentle hands! I've always had a big fear of dentist but Dr. Shelia made sure I was very comfortable and I felt no pain whatsoever during my surgical extraction. I didn't even mind paying out of pocket, it was worth it! Staff is very friendly. Shoutout to Karen as well for being a great dental assistant, she also made me feel at ease. Thanks to everyone here for making my experience a great one

Friendly staff, flexible hours and willing to work with my schedule to make an appointment. Doctor is very informative, let's me know exactly what I need and gives a reasonable estimate for someone who doesn't have insurance

Dr. Sheila does everything possible to make you comfortable, the staff is great and I ALWAYS have fun when I am there. Not all Dental Practitioners are created equal, or let me explain it this way, MOST dentists are only capable of simple cosmetic dentistry and have to referrer out to other specialists such as "Root Canals" and "Dental Implants" making you life a little more difficult because you have to make yet another trip to another doctor. Dr. Sheila does it all and more importantly the prices are VERY reasonable. I personally drive more than 30 miles one way to go to her office. I recommend that "IF" you are looking for someone with skills this is the place to go, make an appointment today and find out what I already know.

There is nothing I hate more than going to the dentist. HOWEVER, Dr. Sheila Villano and her team have made this not the most horrible thing in the world for me. My wife and I, my 6 year old daughter and my 15 year old son have been going to this office for a few years now and we absolutely love it. She actually worked in a dental office just a few minutes away from our home. After she decided to opened up her own dental office, we followed her and we still go to her for dental work even though it takes 1.5 hours of commute one way. Is it worth the drive? I'd say Yes in a heart beat. Dr. Villano IS still one of the best dentists I have ever had. Here are some highlights about her: - Meticulously attentive to details - Very personable -Made the time fly by with great conversations, or even lack thereof. -She is so good with her hands that I actually fall asleep while she works on my teeth. From the receptionist, to the dental assistant to the dentist, they were all amazing. If you are afraid of the dentist or the cost, this is a great place to come. I am very pleased with their service. And the bonus part is: Dr. Villano speaks English and Tagalog, and the dental assistant, Loree speaks English and Spanish and I believe one of the other assistant/receptionist speaks English and Vietnamese.
