Dr. Nathan Storey Sethman has lived in Oklahoma since 1998. He grew up in Stillwater, the son of an Oral Surgeon, and has lived and breathed dentistry since he was a small child. He received his bachelor's degree in Microbiology at the University of Oklahoma in 2014. Dr. Sethman then graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, in May of 2020.
During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Sethman was an active member of the Academic Integrity Council, under the direction of the Provost to investigate and adjudicate academic misconduct claims and issues that arose within the various colleges. He continued this focus on ethics and integrity in dental school as Co-chair of Academic Misconduct. Using the values and ethical principles he upheld, he plans to practice dentistry in Southwest Oklahoma.
Dr. Sethman has been trained in the latest techniques utilizing the newest technologies at the OU College of Dentistry. He gained invaluable experience in patient care with the various dental specialists at the college.
Dr. Sethman met his wife, Pan, in high school while she was a foreign exchange student from her native country of Thailand, in 2010. They were married in 2016, and Pan was able to immigrate to the United States in 2017. Pan and Dr. Sethman just had their first child, Penelope, in April of 2020. They are excited to make Altus their new home.
Ashley takes pride in helping patients understand their dental work, insurance benefits, and limitations. She knows the 'ins and outs ' of the dental office and helps to keep systems in place so the day runs smoothly and on time. She has been with our office since 2008, where she started out as a dental assistant. Our patients feel very comfortable speaking with her regarding their dental needs and concerns. Ashley and her husband Wesley, have two sons, Kash & Kross.
Megan has an easy, fun personality which makes her job comfortablefor our patients. She is availableto answerquestions regarding your account and/or educating you regardingyour dental treatment plan options. Megan graduated from the Platt College of Dental Assisting and has been in the dental field for 8 years. She has been with our office since 2015. Megan and her husband Andy, have two sons, Collin and Brennan.
Lisa has been with our office since the doors opened in 1982! She enjoys helping patients relax and overcome any dental fears, treating them just like family. She is proud to be a part of such an amazing dental team who provides quality care and keeps with the highest technology. Lisa loves anything and everything OU! She enjoys spendingtime with her two sons, Landon and Colton.
Shonda wants to help patients overcome their dental fears and relax, and also to enjoy their beautiful teeth and smiles. It is important to her that patients are comfortable and to ensure that they are getting the best dental carepossible. with Shonda's many years in dentistry she appreciates that AM Dental is conscientious aboutmaintainingquality dentistry and she is proud to be a part of the our dental family. Shonda has two sons, Cameron and Dawson.
Damarisreceivedher dental assistanttraining at the Platt College for Dental Assisting in 2016. She enjoys working at AM Dental because she loves working in a friendly, family-orientedatmosphere, meeting new people, and helping patients feel better about themselves by providing great dentistry. Damaris enjoys helping patients change their perception of dentistry, and restoring smiles inspires her every day.
Najon started at AM Dental while as a student at Platt college in 2020. She graduated from their Dental Assisting program later the same year. Najon joined the dental field due to her desire to better peoples lives and serve others. She is eager to do whatever is needed for our patients, always with a friendly smile.
Gettingyour teeth cleaned is an 'enlightening' experience with dental hygienist Taylor.Sheis renowned for calming the nerves of even the most anxious patient. She just has a knack for knowing when, how, and what to do to make your teeth cleaning a pleasurable experience. Taylor graduated from the OU College of Dentistry for Dental Hygiene in 2013. She has worked for AM Dental since 2016. Taylor and husband Daniel, have a son, Barrett, and a daughter, Brynlee.
Lonna joined our office in 2020 and is a wonderful addition to the AM Dental team due to her vast experience within the dental field. She graduated from Amarillo College Dental Hygiene program, where she later taught. Prior to joining our team, Lonna worked in multiple private dental practices including a Periodontal office that specialized in treatment of advanced gum disease. Lonna and her husband, Ricky, have three children, eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Charged an office visit for just over $200 dollars, and our daughter still left in pain with no help. Would not recommend!

Most horrible experience I've ever had at any medical facility. The Dr had no bedside manners , he seen me about 3 whole minutes. Didn't sit down and go over anything. Told me I had an infection and that I could get it pulled today or root canal That was it got up and left said the asst will go over the prices with me . He was more concerned about money and getting the patients out the door. I had to basically beg to even get an antibiotics then they asked what kind I wanted. The patient in the next chair was complaining about the same thing. Worst experience ever. The rest of the staff was amazing, however I wouldn't recommend a dog to the dentist. It was not Ambrose either . He is a great one

Taylor did an amazing job. She was was patient, caring, gentle, and she was full of knowledge. Taylor explained everything in great detail. Dr Stephens was also knowledgeable and down to earth. The best experience I ever had going to a dentist. They are amazing.

Had an amazing experience with Dr.Sethman, the staff was awesome and attentive, I'll definitely be coming back for any dental work that I will need done. The cleaning went great and I'm looking forward to starting the rest of the dental plan that was printed out for me. Greatly appreciate this group!! David

It was my first time visiting their office for my dental cleaning and I had a wonderful experience. The dental staff is super friendly and Dr. Sethman gave me the proper understanding for my dental plan. I feel informed and look forward to completing my dental plan with them.

I arrived early for my appointment. I saw the hygienist in the dentist office chatting. I waited for about 12 min while she finished her chat. When we get back to the chair she said her computer was acting up and she would have to turn it off and boot it back up, taking about 10 min. If the computer is acting up then fix it instead of chatting with the dentist. She was very slow and didn't have all her supplies ready. My time is valuable. I am in the medical field and patients time and my being prepared to take care of them is priority. Not a great experience this visit.
