As a former faculty member of University of Pacific School of Dentistryin San Francisco, I believe in providing high quality preventive and restorative dental care with emphasis on cosmetic dentistry.

I have been practicing dentistry in Los Altos since 1982 and take great pride in getting to know my patients as individuals, providing professional assessments of their dental needs. In recognition of these values, San Jose Magazine ranked me as one of the top cosmetic dentists in SiliconValley for several consecutive years.

Diana has been with the office for almost 8 years. She has been a dental hygienist for more than 30 years, and is committed to improving the oral hygiene of our patients. On a more personal note, Diana loves making jewelry and card making. She loves cooking, and doesnt mind sharing her recipes.

Natalie came to us over 3 years ago with 14 years prior experience in the dental field. She is chair-side assistant and Dr. Smolenski's right hand. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients and making them comfortable.

Natalie attended Georgian Technical University and holds a BS in Translation. She speaks 4 languages, Georgian, Russian, English, and Italian. Her x-ray and polishing licenses were earned atDental Specialties Institute and she continues taking courses to keep up with dental innovations.

Amy has been employed in our office since Sept. 2014. She has been responsible for filling in wherever needed, mostly at the front desk. She shares responsibility for reception, billing, scheduling, organizing, and record-keeping. She has 19 years of banking experience and has also been a patient since 2001. Amy is in the office on a part-time basis.

Eva has been with our office since 1993. She is one of Dr. Smolenskis daughters, and has helped in all aspects of the office since then. Dental Assisting, accounts payable, patient outreach, Eva has helped the office run smoothly throughout the years.
