Dr. LaFonte is known for his gentle and creative touch. He enjoys helping each of his patients improve their health, appearance, and self-esteem bycreatingthe smile of their dreams, and also maintaining the health and function of their teeth, gums, and bite.
Dr. LaFonte is a Colorado native, having graduated from Arapahoe High School in 1981. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado State University in 1986 majoring in Speech Communications. He finished his formal education at the University of Colorado's School of Dentistry in Denver in 1993. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. His thirst for learning and desire to provide his patients with the most current techniques, materials and technologies drives Dr. LaFonte to pursue multiple continuing education opportunities throughout the year.
When not in the office, Dr. LaFonte enjoys spending time with his family.Manyof you may remember Dr. LaFonte's wife, Gayle, who was a dental hygienist in this office for nine years. Bret and Gayle have four children: daughter Kendra, identical twin boys Kyle and Dane, and youngest son Cole. All of the children are young adults now, leaving Dr. LaFonte and Gayle to adjust to being an empty nesters. A sports enthusiast, Dr. LaFonte enjoys watching the local pro sports teams (don't get him going about the Broncos!!) and playing the occasional round of golf. He enjoys anything Disney related as well. It's a rare year when Dr. LaFonte, his wife, and his children don't visit one of the Disney parks.
Dr. LaFonte's philosophy to treat each patient like a family member, is seen in his gentle and caring chair side manner. His conservative approach and careful diagnosis of each individual's dental needs ensure the quality of care that each of his patients deserve. Whether you just need a check up or need more involved dental work, Dr. LaFonte always puts his patient's best care first.

My family has been going to Altitude Dental for over 30 years. We love the staff and Dr. LaFonte. They are friendly and are always flexible with scheduling us for our appts. Dr. LaFonte is gentle and always is upfront if pain will be involved. My only complaint is the building that they are in. There is no handicapped ramp or elevator and the stairs are very steep and hard to get my elderly Mom into the building. If there comes a time when she can't go up the stairs, we are going to have to find a new dentist. That is my only negative thing to say. If you want a great dentist and great staff, you can't go wrong with Altitude Dental and Dr. LaFonte.

I have been coming here for some years now. I am always made to feel welcome in the office. Dr. LaFonte and his assistant Ambur Ray are friendly and very good at what they do and make the dental visit a positive experience.

Myself and my family have gone to Dr. Brett lafonte for many years. I have a great deal of confidence in his competency, integrity and the quality of staff he surrounds himself with. He is conservative and careful about intervening, and when he suggests doing so, I have always been confident that what he does suggest is needed. The above qualities are all too rare these days.

I have been a patient for about forty years. Through many hygienists, office staff and four dentists. I think this is statement enough about my positive feelings. Quality of staff and technique is five stars. My one concern now is the lack of an elevator to get to the office. I have to evaluate how I feel before each appointment.

Nice people. Been seeing Dr. Lafonte for 20+ years. A few crowns, an implant, a few fillings. Everything fixed the 1st time. Never had a complication.

I have been going to Dr Brent for years. Got my wife to go see him. And she will not be going anywhere but to Dr Brent. Staff is out of this world. They don't do a 15 minute cleaning like the others do. Or you can go to someone that's in it for the cash. Get your teeth pulled because that's the way croportions do it now days. Paid by the tooth Dr Brent is not a tooth puller. He saves your teeth. I am not only a patient I can call him a friend.
