Dr. Hashemi, or Dr. H as his patients know him, received his BS in biology from Drexel University with high honors. He earned his DMD from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, graduating among the top ten individuals in his class. Dr. H went on to train at Seton Hill University, Center for Orthodontics where he obtained his specialty certification in Orthodontics, Master of Science in Orthodontics, and a Master in Business Administration.
Dr. Hashemi approaches orthodontics the same way that he pursues everything in life-with passion, focus, integrity, commitment to excellence, and respect for his patients, all while maintaining his lighthearted, easygoing nature and remembering that its important to have some fun along the way!
When hes not in the office, Dr. H enjoys traveling, staying active to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and spending time with his family. In order to provide the best possible care for his patients, Dr. Hashemi regularly attends continuing education courses and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Great business run here, very kind individuals. I've had braces for 2 years now and I have seen tremendous growth within my teeth and my overbite. Very thankful I chose this Dr.H is an extremely well rounded doctor. He fixes any issue I might have with my braces with no hesitations. Very accommodating for his patients. Besides the outstanding ortho work that Dr. H provides, he's been my favorite doctor of all time. Not only because my teeth are now perfectly straight (which was a seamless process with no hiccups), but because he has treated me like family. I look forward to every appointment I have. Once I finish my treatment, my husband will be visiting and hopefully down the road in the future so will my baby girl. 66 reviews and counting and this practice has nothing less than 5 stars. If you are looking for a good orthodontist, maybe even have a list and are trying to pick out the best fit for you, stop your research and just pick Dr. H already. You will not regret it. No amount of schooling can teach the bedside manner that he has, respect for your patients, personality, and warmth. Thank you Dr. H and Charlene for always being so kind.

We are beyond thankful for your expertise . Our daughters teeth look amazing! If we ever have any questions or concerns, you are there and make us feel right at home. I have wanted braces for a long time! Finally decided to go for it, and am so happy that I chose Altera Orthodontics to do it! Dr. H is awesome, very personable, and puts you right at ease. I am only a few months into my treatment, but am already seeing amazing results. The one thing I especially love is how accessible Dr. H is. If you have an issue, he will get you in right away. I highly recommend.

I visited several orthodontic offices before choosing Dr. Hashemi to provide my orthodontic care. The warm atmosphere, friendly staff and Dr. Hashemi's Kind and gentle nature really stood out to me.
