We couldn't be happier with our experience! Both of my children are immunocompromised, so we have to be even more careful than most about how we go about getting things done during COVID. At times it's not easy finding those that can accommodate their needs. After calling several, much closer, orthodontic clinics and finding that they were not taking many precautions, we were recommended to Alpine Orthodontics. It turned out to be well worth the drive! They sincerely listened as we explained our situation and they were able to work with us to make sure our kids could get the orthodontic advice and care that they needed, but also have as little contact as was humanly possible. The staff was compassionate and professional, the office was clean and inviting and, most importantly, they took our children's medical needs seriously. They kept our children as safe as possible and their caring demeanor put us all at ease. Rebecca went above and beyond with coordinating and the entire staff was incredible. We highly recommend them!

Alpine Orthodontics is great. If you are looking for a fun place that takes care your kid (and you), you won't be disappointed. The staff genuinely are great and will go out of their way to take care of you. They have some amazing technology like 3D scanning with no radiation. They have TV's in the ceiling for the patient with wireless headphones. The massage chairs and coffee station for the parents and n the waiting room is also awesome.

If you're looking for a good orthodontist, think about going elsewhere. Dr. Jackson was great during the consultation, but during pretreatment, I found her to be rough and lacking in kindness that you would expect from a dentist. I first had spacers put in between my teeth by her assistant, which I found out later, were not necessary. When the spacers kept popping out, Dr. Jackson (in between seeing other patients) decided to put a band around one molar. The band had brackets on the lingual and facial which ended up lacerating my tongue to such a degree that I had to call the following day to have the band removed. This could have been avoided if Dr. Jackson had sent wax home with me and an explanation of how to apply it. It took my painful tongue lacerations over a week to heal. The band she placed on my molar was also high in places so that I hit the band first which caused a severe toothache. Since seeking a different orthodontist, I realized I did not need spacers nor a band with tongue-lacerating brackets. It took me a year to gain the confidence to find a new orthodontist. What a difference a good orthodontist makes!

My son needed braces. He was so embarrassed about his teeth that he would not smile, ever. We went to several orthodontists before me Cynthia Jackson. Most had either quoted some outlandish cost or procedures; none gave us a complete start to finish cost like Alpine Orthodontics. Cynthia and staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door, and understood what my son was going through. He was not just a number in the books. They offered several different discounts based on our situations, with payment plans available. He was in and out of the braces in two years, with great results. We have two more children that will need braces they too will be going to Alpine Orthodontics. Overall the best value we found in East County for orthodontics.
