Alpine Dental Health began as a single dental office in Fort Collins more than 40 years ago. In that small community, patients seen one day often became friends the next. In 2005, the retiring owner found just the right dentists to carry forward this legacy. Dr. Michael Mick McDill and Dr. Todd Rosenzweig, friends from way back in dental school at the University of Colorado, have been at the helm ever since, growing and enhancing Alpine Dental Health to care for patients in the best possible way.
Dr. McDills and Dr. Rosenzweigs partnership has been strong, and Alpine Dental Health continues to flourish. Why? Alpine Dental Health now has four locations, all along Colorados Front Range: in Downtown Denver, Central Boulder, West Fort Collins and Downtown Fort Collins.

In this spirit, it is important that you have regular, comprehensive dental and periodontal (gum) exams, which, in addition to decay detection, include an oral cancer screening, gum tissue examination, and evaluation of your biting force and the function of your jaw. The information that we discover during these exams helps us to put together a complete diagnosis as well as a comprehensive treatment plan for you.

For someone that has anxiety about going to the dentist (I suppose everyone does), Alpine helps keep that to a minimum. They do an awesome job of explaining what's going on with my teeth and the options for care and treatment. Dr. Pedigo and his team have done a great job on a range of dental services for me. I highly recommend Alpine!

If you're looking for a downtown dentist, look no further. I highly recommend Alpine Dental! They are fast, efficient, and detail-oriented with some of the friendliest clinic culture as a bonus! Dr. Pedego does an excellent job of walking you through the steps that are being taken and puts your mind at ease through the process. A big thank you to the staff for their extraordinary efforts from start to finish!

I was seen by Dr. Pedego, who is new to this practice two times in the last month; a regular checkup and a follow-up for two fillings. Both times, Dr. Pedego and his staff were helpful, attentive, and efficient. He clearly explained the reason for the two fillings during the first appointment. On my follow-up visit, the dentist himself informed me in the waiting area that they had a surprise emergency dental patient come in, and they needed to tend to his needs first, but he promised to have me out the door in the allotted appointment time. Yes, I had a short wait, but I was happy to oblige given the emergency appointment. Once I was seated in the dentist chair, Dr. Pedego was quick and efficient with his work, expertly timing the local anesthetic needed on one of the teeth to be ready to work on after the first filling was completed. He checked in with me to make sure I was fine and I was not experiencing any pain during the brief procedure. And he somehow had me out the door exactly on time. Thank you very much for your work, and best of luck with the new practice.

Nice and friendly, but told me I needed 5-10 fillings one day. I went to another dentist, and they told me I was fine - and since then I've been fine (this all happened years ago). Unfortunately, this approach of prescribing unnecessary work is prevalent in the dentistry industry these days. Always get a second opinion (on anything beyond cleaning).

First time here, had a very good experience. William and Iveta took good care of me. William noted a few things that no dentist has ever gone over with me, before. He went very in-depth, and noticed that my sealant needs replaced on my molars, and that there was some grinding happening when I was sleeping, due to the wear on my teeth. Thanks so much.

Been coming here since the start of the year when I moved to Denver and I can't recommend this place enough. The first dentist, Dr. Cavell, was great but he moved out of town I believe. The new dentist, Dr. Taylor Pedego, has been amazing - he's knowledgeable, kind, and very attentive towards his patients. Can't really ask for more from your doctors. The rest of the staff including hygienists, assistants, and receptionist all equally deserve the 5-star review themselves. Go for a visit, you won't regret it.

Quick appointment time and friendly staff. The Dentist was so attentive and thorough in his exam. Hygienist was very skilled, friendly and timely. When our previous dentist stopped carrying our insurance, I was sad to have to find another practice. Happy to say I found a great one!

If you are nervous about dentist visits, this place may be the place for you. The best most transparent dentistry office I've been to. From billing to the dentistry itself Alpine has knowledgeable and capable staff. Dr. Pedigo (I probably misspelled sorry) was able to explain things in a way that felt tangible. I had a lady do my cleaning and was just as knowledgeable and capable. :)

I highly recommend Alpine Dental Downtown! Dr. Cavell is highly knowledgeable and explained everything to help me feel at ease. I had a cavity that he filled and he made sure I felt ok throughout the entire process. His team is phenomenal and thorough with cleanings. I am so glad to have found an office that cares!

I have been looking for a good dental practice in Denver for a while and have finally come across a diamond in the rough. Every single person I have interacted with has been absolutely incredible and the whole experience is seamless. Dr. Cavell is the reason I continuously come back. I just got my first cavity filled and he really made the experience as painless as possible. I could not recommend Alpine Dental more.

I highly recommend this dentist. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the dental hygienist, Iveta, was very knowledgeable, and Dr. Cavell did a thorough exam and identified areas to keep an eye on. I really appreciate how he showed me areas that might require fillings in the future, and explained that they could be reversible with proper preventative care (instead of just recommending we do a filling there). I highly recommend Alpine Dental!

Was really nervous about a wisdom tooth extraction as my last one I got several years ago didn't go well. But it went really well and Dr. Taller was very slow and deliberate. He took his time to explain everything and made sure I understood everything before he did it. Would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone.

I am honestly scared of the dentist--it gives me terrible anxiety. I could not have imagined a better experience. Every single person who works here is kind and compassionate. I never felt uncomfortable. I felt cared for and their genuine concern. Would recommend to anyone!!
