Dr. Kevan Cahow is a skilled and compassionate general dentist. Dr. Cahow earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Hamline University in St. Paul and his dental degree (DDS) from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Dr. Cahow truly enjoys being a family dentist and providing comprehensive care to all his patients in a comfortable and caring manner. Areas of clinical interest include implants, crown and bridge, endodontics (root canal treatments) and oral surgery treatments. He believes in community service and is currently a volunteer with Give the Kids a Smile Program.
In his free time, Dr. Cahow enjoys spending time with his family and friends at their cabin, golfing and biking in the summer months, and snowmobiling and snowboarding in the winter time. He and his wife have two children.
Dr. Spencer Amstrup is proud to serve patients as a part of the Alpine Dental team. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of North Dakota, and received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She offers a variety of services such as restorations, crowns and bridges, dentures, extractions, and root canal treatments. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her Australian shepherd, family weekends at the cabin, and participating in local volleyball leagues.

After 20+ years with a dentist we loved, when he retired ( :( ) we needed to find a new dental location. In reading scores of reviews we landed on Dr. Amstrup. After both of us...(husband and wife) have now been seen for our 6 month visit and consultation/cleaning, we found Alpine Dental to be a great new dental home. Katie and Melissa were ARTISTS in their approach to care and cleaning and Dr. Amstrup was very friendly, thorough and gave us the impression that, in her, we've entered the new age of dental care. Just had my first appointment here. The staff are super friendly and they made sure I was also comfortable. The wait time was almost non existent and they were very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend :)

The staff is always so pleasant, from check in to the hygienist, dentist to check out. I appreciate they're upfront with the out of pocket costs after billing insurance. The dentists listen to your concerns and try to make the patient as comfortable as possible.
