After each patients visit, all instruments are sterilized with the latest vacuum and ultrasonic sterilizers. Other surgical items are supplied ready-sterilized and we dispose of them after use. We employ a combination of methods to ensure our surgery environment achieves the highest levels of clinical sterility.

We are very proud of our state-of-the-art sterilization center, but we dont just stop there. We go the extra mile and have weekly third-party sterilization audits to make sure the sterilization procedures are operating at peak level for your safety. We even use a special water bottle sterilization system that is proven to eliminate bacteria in all of our dental lines, which is vital for your safety.

Dr. Shen received her Bachelors degree in Biochemistry at UC Berkeley and later obtained her Doctorate degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. She has completed a rigorous and extensive residency at VA Palo Alto Hospital. Since then, Dr. Shen has worked at Valley Medical Center and started her own private practice in Mountain View.

Dr. Shen has taken many post-graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving her DDS degree, including coursework in oral conscious sedation at the DOCS Institute and in IV Sedation at the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Shen has also completed post-graduate training in dental implants at the prestigious Carl Misch Institute.

Her emphasis on patient comfort, as well as keeping up-to-date on the latest advancements and the newest technology in dentistry, enable her to provide her patients with the highest quality dental care.

Dr. Shen has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry including full mouth reconstruction and advanced surgical procedures such as block bone grafts, soft tissue grafts, and dental implants.

Dr. Shen always upholds the highest standards. She achieves the best care for her patients with her advanced skills, excellent judgement, clear communication, and compassion. Her approach to your treatment starts with listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, she reviews and discusses the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment options, to determine what approach to care most interests you and meets your personal needs.

Since 2014, Kayzell has offered our patients a friendly smile and helped our team keep the practice running like clockwork. She loves helping out wherever she can and is always happy to see patients flawless smiles when they leave the office. Kayzell earned her bachelor of science in psychology at San Jose State University. Originally from Sunnyvale, Kayzell enjoys spending time with her loving husband, daughter, and two dogs. She loves trying out new recipes, especially desserts, and Kayzell has a small orchard in her back yard with lemon, nectarine, and mandarin trees.

Our clinical assistants are graduates of recognized dental assisting schools, and possess certifications in CPR and Radiology. They are committed to excellence, and take great pleasure in making patients feel comfortable and helping them with any apprehensiveness they might feel.

Eileen has nearly three decades of dentistry experience, and shes been with our team since 2011. She loves helping patients feel comfortable in the office and ensuring they receive the care they need to leave the office with a smile on their faces. She studied at Foothill College and the Concord Career Institute. She is also certified in CPR, OSHA regulations, infection control, and dental accounting. A native of Mountain View, Eileen loves spending time with her caring family, wine tasting, hiking, and participating in cause-oriented marathons. She has been an active member of the American Cancer Societys Relay for Life for several years.
