Cynthia Wiggins, DDS, is a highly experienced family and general dentist at Alpha Omega Dental Center in Marquette, Michigan. She proudly provides a wide range of dental services to help patients improve and maintain quality oral health.
Having lived in the Marquette area for more than 30 years, Dr. Wiggins first came to Marquette on a volleyball scholarship to Northern Michigan University (NMU), where she earned her Bachelor of Science in medical technology in 1988 and graduating cum laude. She then completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan, graduating at the top of her class in 1996. While at the University of Michigan, she was awarded several achievements, including the Alpha Omega Scholarship Award for Highest Academic Achievement, Academy of Periodontology Award for Excellence in Periodontal Diagnosis and Treatment, induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society for General Dentistry, and more.
At Alpha Omega Dental Center, Dr. Wiggins takes a holistic approach to care, treating the body as a whole. She emphasizes that any oral condition affecting the mouth can have an impact on the entire body, and therefore, believes it is always wiser to be proactive rather than reactive.
Dr. Wiggins stays up to date with the latest advancements and is an active member of the Fellow Academy of General Dentistry. She is triple board-certified in dental sleep medicine for sleep apnea treatment by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and also board-certified in craniofacial pain by the American Board of Craniofacial Pain. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine, American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, and American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
When Dr. Wiggins isnt at work, she can be found spending time with her husband, Dan (whom she met at NMU), and their two children. She enjoys running, playing racquetball, softball, and volleyball, and coaching the local Articatz club and high school volleyball programs.

Started here after our dentist of 20 years suddenly retired. On the fifth red flag, I walked out of the appointment bc I was uncomfortable with the Doc giving me a shot in the mouth without greeting me or letting me see her eyes, during covid mask wearing times. She sent a letter stating that she sees 100's of patients. I sent a letter back stating that I understand she struggles bc of high staff turnover but starting a medical procedure without allowing the patient to see you is never ok and I was shocked that's how she chose to shave time off of her patient care and her day. Do not recommend.

Dr. Wiggins and her team provide unmatched service and attention to detail. I appreciate their holistic perspective that puts a focus on health and longevity. They have turned "going to the dentist" into a very positive experience that I look forward to. I can't recommend them enough!

I have been going to Dr. Wiggins at Alpha Omega Dental for 25+ years, and she is absolutely the best dentist there is! I 150% trust her with my health, teeth and smile! Her whole staff is friendly, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Very calm and welcoming setting- and literally treat you like family I wish I could give them more than 5 stars- they are the best!

This office constantly changes appointments. In December my son had an appt time that was changed twice, and the second time they changed it I was not notified. We ended up showing up way early for no reason. Today I was called that next week they wanted to move both my sons appointment times that had been scheduled two months ago, so rescheduling would make my 6&4 year old wait another 2 months to be seen. THIS OFFICE IS TERRIBLE. Don't schedule an appointment cause they wont stick to the time you're told!

I had an emergency with a broken upper molar that was very painful. Dr Wiggins and her staff made room to get me in. Dr Wiggins and all of the staff are very professional and compassionate. With the COVID virus it is not easy to squeeze an additional patient into an already packed schedule. I can not Thank Dr Wiggins and her staff enough for their exceptional care.

Doc Cindy has been my dentist for more that 20 years. She is easily the best dentist I have ever had in my 76 years. She is the main reason I still have teeth in my mouth.

I have gone to Dr. Wiggins for at least 12 years. She is amazing. Her knowledge and concern for the patient's dental and overall health is excellent. She makes going to the dentist easy and stress free, and I have total confidence in her work. The office staff, assistants, and hygienist are all knowledgeable and pleasant! A great office to trust for your dental care!

Dr. Wiggins and her staff are phenomenal. I've read many reviews about disgruntled patients upset with scheduling. Well, this is a trying time we're in and we shouldn't expect everything to go exactly as planned every single day, there will be hiccups in life. Her staff is well trained and extremely polite. Dr. Wiggins herself is absolutely wonderful. I love her more holistic approach and the holistic 'medicine' she endorses and sells! Great team and after many visits, I felt comfortable enough to openly stand in her corner and recommend anyone to do the same!!
